Thanks to @CoastieRon for the idea.

I mounted my box onto my fender wells.

Installed DDI Front Seat Jackers on the driver’s side. They definitely change the seat positioning. You sit up enough where you feel like you’re actually in a truck. Can’t wait to see how it feels on a long trip.

Don't they though?? I put mine in earlier this week and it really is a difference in night and day in how it sits and rides.

After watching @ClassyTacos vid on youtube, I'm gonna prob try putting the quarter-inch grade 8 spacers on rear of seats to see how that rides. If don't like it, can always remove it.

Question for all the soothsayers on the World of Tacoma:

Is there a type of mount for the Garmin mini dash cam where it can mount TO the existing rearview mirror?

There is a kit I found on here:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0102CK1BS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8

However, I'm not 100% sure this will work with mini. I'm honestly trying to keep the sticky mount OFF the windshield (one of those OCD issues I have).

How is getting in and out? The only reason I'm still a little hesitant to pull the trigger on these is because I feel like it would make the gap between the top of my thighs and the bottom of the steering wheel tighter when sliding in and out.

    Minor stuff.
Hockey and gardening…. Took my son to his hockey tryouts today and then headed to my least favorite store, Home Depot, for gardening supplies. Third year here and never planted anything in the little gardening area in front of the house. Cleaned up the area and the soil was in good shape. Loose and had worms in it. Planted everything and also planted a tree. Good day today.

Honestly, I didn't notice any difference. But I'm not sure of your height, but I'm sitting at a paltry 5-5. To me, it seems like it "leans back" just enough for you to get better support on your lower back.

Honestly, Toyota could take a few notes on these things. Makes the seat a lot more comfy. And that's with new seat covers on too.

Yes, it really does change the feel of the ride. I think it also improves positioning for driving stick.

I’m not sure I’ll need the rear spacers with the power seat. I’ll wait and decide after I’ve run with them a while and taken a long trip.

I got hooked up with a free donor set of headlights. I’m yet to drop them in. Some broken tabs etc. Might put them in than do my stock ones that are in excellent shape. Will also add the amber acrylic lense to the blinker if so. Was much easier than expected.

When I finished the install and got in the truck my legs hit the steering wheel. There was enough adjustment with the power seat and steering wheel that it no longer interferes. I have the steering wheel nearly up all the way and pulled all the way out. I have long skinny legs (34” inseam), but am only 5’11”.

I'm not tall either.. 5'7 on a good day I just have big legs lol. Nevertheless, that's good to hear. I'll probably end up grabbing some soon cause ever since I started hearing about them I've noticed my legs are kinda just floating above the seat instead of resting on it.. especially driving stick.

Hmmm no power seat for me unfortunately. I'm short but with bigger legs and my steering wheel is already all the way up and out.

Same. Even the OEM "TRD 4x4 Offroad" decal looks cheap and awkward IMO.

Do you have the steering wheel adjusted fully upward?
