That's a horrible idea. What time?
So, this started yesterday and finished like this today.

    • SR5 grill (thanks @Karminski!) with the AJT Relocation Bracket - no TSS errors.
    • Installed the rehab'ed Endeavor Series (Rago Fabrications) bedrack from purchased blemished raw steel and rehab'ed in the driveway / garage
    • Endeavor series awning mounts
    • TRD skid plate, repainted because, that color...
    • Tepui tent and batwing awning out of the basement and back on the truck
    • Required wash and quick Turtle Wax "Shine and Dry" wax. First time I've used it, wasn't too bad.
Thanks @the.site.picture for all the assistance yesterday.

Also sold a bunch of stuff over the last two weeks, so now I have enough cash to order sliders! That leaves wheels and tires, and maybe full skids. Time ($$) will tell.

It’s coming off but it’s slow going and crumbling off.

Nice job. I did the same thing. I’m not super happy with some of my cuts but overall it’s okay. Best part is saving $200 by doing it ourselves.

Installed DDI Front Seat Jackers on the driver’s side. They definitely change the seat positioning. You sit up enough where you feel like you’re actually in a truck. Can’t wait to see how it feels on a long trip.

Don't they though?? I put mine in earlier this week and it really is a difference in night and day in how it sits and rides.

After watching @ClassyTacos vid on youtube, I'm gonna prob try putting the quarter-inch grade 8 spacers on rear of seats to see how that rides. If don't like it, can always remove it.

Question for all the soothsayers on the World of Tacoma:

Is there a type of mount for the Garmin mini dash cam where it can mount TO the existing rearview mirror?

There is a kit I found on here:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0102CK1BS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8

However, I'm not 100% sure this will work with mini. I'm honestly trying to keep the sticky mount OFF the windshield (one of those OCD issues I have).

How is getting in and out? The only reason I'm still a little hesitant to pull the trigger on these is because I feel like it would make the gap between the top of my thighs and the bottom of the steering wheel tighter when sliding in and out.

    Minor stuff.
Hockey and gardening…. Took my son to his hockey tryouts today and then headed to my least favorite store, Home Depot, for gardening supplies. Third year here and never planted anything in the little gardening area in front of the house. Cleaned up the area and the soil was in good shape. Loose and had worms in it. Planted everything and also planted a tree. Good day today.

Honestly, I didn't notice any difference. But I'm not sure of your height, but I'm sitting at a paltry 5-5. To me, it seems like it "leans back" just enough for you to get better support on your lower back.

Honestly, Toyota could take a few notes on these things. Makes the seat a lot more comfy. And that's with new seat covers on too.
