GA Tacoma Owners BS Thread

I wouldn’t call it water damage. Just had to remove interior to shampoo carpet and pad. I also had to remove my actuator to get the water out.

I will tell you all why NOT to get a CBI t3 rear bumper momentarily.
F’ing thing just sheared a pin @ 80mph on the HWY.
Swing outs kicked out and rear tire swung all the way up against my bed!

This is complete BS and dangerous.

That's been a problem for I believe several years now.

 

Jesus, all it is would be to add a pin or flange for a lock. Now my tail light is broke and bed is slightly dented. shitty thing is I wasn’t wheeling.

 

As dumb as it sounds I first heard of the issue when everyone was checking out xoverland and the stuff they do. Someone had snapped a screen shot of the cbi t3 rear bumper being held together with a ratchet strap for that same reason

 

So I guess the real question is, should I modify it or sell it. This was a real pita! If I didn’t have a strap I would have been f’d.

 

Definitely fix it

 

And CBI stands for can't break it. Haha. What a joke. I wanted their dakar front bumper but I've read so many negative things about them I won't support them as a business.

 

I can fix it once I move back we can make it. Better haha jk I’ll probably make it worse
