Puck lift

I put a 1inch puck loft in the front of my Tacoma, thought it would level it but it did not. Sits higher in the front now. Raised the front more than an inch. Does anyone know I am thinking about putting a one inch block lift in the rear. Will that help I have heard that some people have had to go 2inch in the rear to level. Will 1 inch block be sufficient?

 

If there is rake to begin with, adding 1” in the front and 1” in the back will not level the truck. Think about it.

 

I mean, it could. The front lifts 2:1. Half inch in the shock is one inch OAL. At least that's what I've read. I have no direct experience / measurements

 

Ahh got me again. Most level kits are 2/1, 3/2 and so on. I’ve read 2/1.5, 3/2.5 etc..
My 2/1 sits level. Actually driver side is high because of the 1/4” spacer haha.

P.S - I have never seen 1” all around level any truck with rake.

 

The spacer lift in the front is double what it says. A 1.5 inch spacer will raise the front 3 inches. A 1 inch block in the rear will only raise the rear 1 inch.
A leveling kit will be a 1.5 spacer in front and a 2 inch block in the rear.

 

So you lifted the front 2" with a 1" block, if that's the case then yes a common spacer lift is 2" front 1" rear

 

Why would you do this to your $45K dollar truck? You need to do a lot more research before buying anything for your truck. There's alot more to lifting these trucks than just installing a new set of coilovers or spacers. Welcome to TW and good luck with your truck.

This is a 2/1 spacer lift I had on to fit my tires while waiting for my Icon setup to come in

 

Shouldn’t it be squatting if it’s technically 4” in the front and 1” in the rear? I’m confused now

Oh ok I see now. They just list the lift you gain versus the size of the spacer. Got it.

 

Yep, it's kind of weird, being double the rear. Thats just the way it works.

front spacers are 2 to 1 ie: 1 inch thick spacer 2 inch lift, back is 1 to 1, so measure center of hub to wheel well in the front and back if front is 1 inch taller ad 1 inch of spacer to back, if its more add more, if its less add less.

 

Is the actual spacer thickness 1"? If so that would be a 2" lift in the front. I did a 2" spacer and was higher up front. I added a 1.5" AAL which almost leveled the truck perfectly. Rear is still slightly higher which is fine as I have a topper coming.
