I posted I’m not running mud flaps. With flaps I’ve heard of some issues with light rubbing especially with the oem flaps. Not so much with red ken or rockblokz flaps.

I had the same question lol

Looks great! I just got a cement 2021 Tacoma. I'm trying to avoid black (too dark) or silver/gray wheels (too light), but these seem dark enough to compliment the Cement paint without being "black." So, just right!

    Any more pics?

I'll try to snap some pictures and send them in different light conditions. I considered the Matte Black but they were too dark and the Gun Metal was way too light in my opinion. I don't think the pictures do them justice. They also fill out the wheel well much nicer than stock TRD rims as many others have noted on this forum.

Ok this is gun metal matte grey in broad daylight. As you can see it’s darker than you think, but matches perfectly IMO with magnetic grey metallic paint

Great, thanks. Did you mean to say the matte gunmetal was too light?

Yeah, these have a slightly more aggressive offset than the factory TRD PRO wheels (plus a little lighter weight), so I thought it would be well worth the extra couple hundred for these.

Totally in IMO. Not at all the GMG isn’t too light but it’s lighter than the high gloss and the black for sure. These just match my truck perfectly.

You bet... my rims would look great on your cement truck... they would be a bit darker than the paint but not too dark like the black... My color almost matches my paint so it’s a really good look. But cement I think would even have a better contrast than mine.

Don’t know if this helps, but these are the gloss dark gun metal.

With your paint job that looks awesome. That’s why I went with the gunmetal grey because my truck is magnetic grey. If I had your color I would have done the same as you. Looks amazing... great work..... great contrast on both our trucks.

Got my matte gunmetal FX pros last week, and mounted up new meats today. Wildpeak ATW3 in 265 70 17

2884 springs on 5100s, HS AAL rears without overload.
Wasn’t quite happy with the front height so I bumped the springs up to the 1st notch a couple days ago. It’s now level without any weight in the bed. Plan to add bags to the rear so I can carry a load without wrecking the springs and fine tune the rear height.

edit: front flaps do rub when reversing and turning. Too them off for now, might trim them and put back on

Just got mine put on a few days ago with some new tires. Really wasn’t diggin’ 265’s with a 2ish inch lift. These things look absolutely amazing.
Now’s the real difficult task of selling a set of like-new 265/70r17 open ranges on my stock wheels without taking too much of a loss.

This is with 285/70r17. I’m not sure if it was just the brand of tires or what but 265s looked odd with the lift. I’ve wanted a Tacoma with bigger tires since the late 90’s anyways. Really thought I’d rub, but I aired down and stuck both tires on a big curb and it’s not even close. The offset on these is great.
Trimmed some plastic just to be safe. I could see if I stuck a bumper and wench on I’d probably wanna do a cmc.

That’s what i opted not to lift mine... with stock suspension and the trd off road package. It stands a bit taller than normal and the 265 70 17 is the perfect look for stock.

Totally agree. Without a lift the 265’s looked great.
