    That's a long boi.

The window on the shell makes it look like the bed is longer than normal too.

Not that I've had them, windoors are a must. They've been great

I wish I had windoors or at least a cubby or something, my plain solid cap is a huge blind spot.

I would get another cap but am looking for a 3rd gen bed to put on mine and don't want to get another cap for this bed as it won't fit a gen 3 when I change.

Does your cap slope up slightly at the rear or is it straight? Looks like it goes up slightly if anything.

Mine actually slopes down, it's kind of "boat tailed" it increases MPG considerably especially with the rear tire mounted.

I honestly don't know about mine. I have a pretty good rear to front rake, so it may be straight.....or angled up

I have a little rake too, it's more noticeable now as I finally made some spacers for the bed to match the cab mount flip lift this weekend.

I figure once I get a HC rear bumper/tire carrier, it'll bring the rear down a bit. I also still need to mount the ARB up front. I'm pretty sure I'll need to adjust the IMS's afterwards. I set them at stock height when we installed the lift.

Wish I had seen this earlier and my wife wasn't going on a mom's get away next weekend. I'm Interested in doing the Traverse. Maybe another opportunity will pop up this year.

My 9 and 12 yr olds don't mind weekend camping but my 9 yo boy would not appreciate the 60%+ time in the truck. My 12 yo daughter would just sleep ( she sleeps anywhere even offroading ).

Dipped my toe in last week with some FSR riding and checked out the Toccoa swinging bridge. Hopefully getting my RTT and camping gear sorted out today to be ready for what comes next. Hoping to finish up my water tank build project also.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I might jump on the wagon. I will be rolling thru that area and would like to drop in if I am.
Wanna put this camper to some use!

Forecast isn't looking any better. Potential for heavy rain Saturday. I think it depends on the severe storm system that will move thru Alabama on Saturday. Figures. This past weekend was beautiful.

Friday will be dry until after midnight. This is the forecast map for Saturday. Lets hope this speeds up as the week goes on and this moves on out.

Finished up my drawer system yesterday. Just need to paint and put something rugged on top for placing items on it. Ill do that later though. This thing has burnt me out lol. Was harder than i thought. About 10 hours of total work time. Fun project non the less. Packed it up with everything im taking this weekend and it worked like a charm. Looking forward to the use this weekend. Just got to get my tent risers on to help with the Annex height which they should be here tomorrow. Maybe my jackery will be here before i leave Thursday after work as well.

It's a pretty cool site and a quick walk from the parking lot.
