I taught my kids to make fun of my brother for "throwing gang signs" every time we go off-roading with him.

Mods? We don't need no stinking mods.
I rented one a year or so ago. Loved to removable roof. Didn't care for the interior. It sucked in Atlanta stop-n-go traffic and on the highway. Hated the engine kill switch, especially in traffic. Didn't figure out there was a disable button until the end trip. That being said, it was fun driving around when we reached our destination.

I drove a customers Wrangler Rubicon on 33 inch BFGoodrich KO2s and it was shaking at literally any speed. No way I'm going to buy a jeep lmao

If it wasn't for my health I'd get another Jeep and would be Rock Crawling every weekend

    Jeeps are awesome

had a 2013 JK. Drove it several years with the doors off and just a bikini topper on it 8 months out of the year. sold it to carmax for just $2k under what I paid for it after 3 years. 2-3 inch lift was $200 plus about 6 hours of time with a couple of jacks. $100 procomp rims with some nitto 33's no rub, quadratec website has all the mods you could ever fall over wanting. Rhino lined the inside after removing the carpet. moved back home to a tacoma cause I gotta get shit done.

I feel like a jeep is the Spice Girls of the automotive world. She can do fun things and looks good doing it, but she aint hauling grammas smoke stained couch to the dump. Gladiator dont count cause it costs more even in base trim vs SR/SR5.

Let’s be real though, “built” jeeps look really cool and its so easy to add a steel bumper and 35’s compared to a tacoma

Had a 2012 Jk 2dr manual base sport for 9 years. Fun vehicle great feeling taking the top down and doors off. With the increase of traffic and speed of traffic in my area it was just wasn't enjoyable anymore. I'm much happier with the Tacoma.

    No kidding!
He's convinced that we will all be driving electric vehicles in the next decade. I just don't see that happening, for multiple reasons.

Agreed. Had a lifted 2011 JKU w/ 35's and some other goodies. Loved it in the warmer months. Was fun while it lasted but the Taco serves me so much better now. Feels so much more refined. I like the newer ones, just not for the prices.
