I’ve been debating building a hook/bracket style holder for mine. Tired of caring it upstairs when not in use and the cleanliness of the 1up is nice.

I might go with the rack inverted though to allow getting the bracket higher up the wall.

This was taken with my 17 Tacoma SR and our bikes parked at Kent State Universities Dix Stadium. We ride the trails from here. My set up for securing the bikes is made from fist clamps and threaded rods that screw into my side bed rails. I haul both our bikes this way and can leave the tires on the bikes. The fist clamps secure the front forks and peddle to hold the bikes in place. Its fast to hook them up and cheap and easy to make. I got the idea from someone else doing that on this link last year.taco dix 006.jpg .taco dix 004.jpg

We've had a bit of snowy weather here, but two days above 50 meant that some trails were allllmmmost ready.
I think this was the muddiest day I've ever ridden.
**Disclaimer: these trails are all good to ride in these conditions. They drain extremely well. That being said, these are mostly bootleg and are already pretty rutted... Guess I need to put in my dues next week and dig.

I made a dummy receiver out of a few scraps of wood for storing our 1Up. I actually have it down low on the floor but the wood stabilizes it. Worked out well for a 5 minute job.

With two kids under 5 y/o running around, higher and out of reach is better. And as much as these racks weigh, it needs to be secure.

    Appreciate the input though

I actually had that custom printed on a stem cap and gave it to a buddy for christmas last year, so he sees it every time he rides his bike.

So I was bugging out yesterday as I couldn't find a parking spot in front of restaurant even in the nice part of town as the only thing holding bike on friends truck was a walmart combination bike lock.

I ordered this as it was the cheapest I could find it at around $106.

Anti-Theft Offer is cool, but doubt I'll pay for it.

I'll then use this cheap bike lock to hold front wheel on rack and chain to wrap around frame. Won't be worried if I need to run in the fuel station or walmart while on our knoxville trip either this way.

Even that isn't enough for me. I'm literally paranoid when it comes to bike theft.
