    They're all the stars.

Got to meet the entire crew last Thursday.

Super great people. You could tell they were all tired and worn out (I arrived around 3:45 pm) but they all hung around and chatted with me about my business, offroading, living in small towns, the whole nine. Posed for pictures and all that jazz. I went to make a simple introduction, as my Tacomas venture into Southern Utah all the time, but I left with much more than that.

If you're ever in the area, check em out. Great, wholesome people.

Ya, if you haven't watched the video, the screenshot is once one of his guys is in the truck, slowly trying to back up while they are being winched out of the mud. So they are sliding back and to the side, away from the board with mud-covered tires.

That is just awesome. I'd love to get out there someday and wheel the area and meet the crew. Did you make it out to the Fab Rats camp as well?

If you like sleeping, towing and recovery is not the business for you. Just as a driver I was working 12 hours a day, six days a week. And it was very often more than that. I can't even imagine how little sleep Matt and the recovery crew are getting. I will say I did enjoy the job, but not the hours or crappy pay. Fortunately, I was already on a path elsewhere.

I did not go by Fab Rats, as I was unaware he had a place I could visit. I visit Gooseberry Mesa to mountain bike every year, so next time I head up there I will swing by his place as well.

They are my favorite show on YT and Utah has been one of my enjoyable states to visit.

There's no "official" place for Fab Rats. He just works out of a barn near his home. But it's a side gig for him. So customers welcome?
