Got my 3240's transaxle back in. Run and topped off. Looks good so far, I've run it around the driveway and all is well. Gotta put the loader back on it but that's just 1 pin, the cylinder pins, and 4 hydraulic QDs

Got my friends Mahindra hauled back to the other farm today. He bought him a Duramax the other day, he’s looking for a gooseneck trailer now.

This is my parents 2005 Massey Ferguson ZT33 zero turn mower. It’s a 33 hp 3 cylinder diesel with a 60” deck. It’s a rebadged Iseki mower. I think the Iseki equivalent is an SZ330. It has an Iseki E3CD engine.
Out: Delo 400 SDE 15w40, Agco 72201828 oil filter. (Unknown interval)
In: Mobil Delvac 1300 Super 15w40 and a Fram XG4967.

The OEM filter number doesn’t cross to a Fram filter, but it crosses to a Wix 51360 or 51394. Those Wix filters cross to a Fram XG4967 or an XG2951. Both Wix filters have an 8-11 psi bypass valve. The Fram XG2951 has a 12 psi bypass valve and the XG4967 has a 14 psi bypass valve. The XG4967 was the closest in size to the OEM filter so I chose it. I think there may be room for the bigger XG2951 so I may try it next time.77182C0B-5956-42D4-9D72-A3EE3E542D48.jpg 4105532D-DE6B-497A-A12A-D0138FCDDCE8.jpg EEA6A783-1E1E-49C0-8185-DF8A35E5A954.jpg 87480628-7C1D-4B04-8833-4B4786444977.jpg

Got another Honda push mower to diagnose the 3 speed trans that seems it’s got known issues.... this one moves in 1st but not 2nd or 3rd ... this one may just need a cable adjustment?? Then once that’s squared away, a tune up and fresh gas... fuel tank looks dirty inside so probably a clean out. We shall see how this one goes.

Don't some of you guys use leaf blowers to blow off all the dust and grass that get on the mower while mowing when you finish? I always do, in my mind, it makes checking them over for any issues that are starting and keeping wear down easy.

Every single time. I also pull the air filter pre-filter off and beat it against the running blower tip to get all the dirt out.

I have my air compressor hose on the side of my shop. I use it to blow off the mowers after use as well.

I kill 2 birds with one stone:

The air hose is connected to the bottom of the tank. This drains any water out as well as blows the mowers clean.

As a kid I used to stand on the rear tines when the farmer used to cultivate the tobacco in East Earl, PA. Waaaay back in the 60's.

My brother and I used to stand on the rear cultivators of dads 140 while he cultivated corn, tobacco, and the garden. Looking back, what was he thinking???

For better or worse, my 318 is purely a tool when I’m using it between PM’s. I’ll power wash and clean/paint it while it’s down for maintenance and I’m attune to any problems while using it, but I’m hardly the guy that goes the extra mile after every use. I’m also the same kind of person that buys a cream puff 7.3 with less than 100k on it and then puts 100k on it in 5 years right in the middle of the salt belt because I believe that vehicles and equipment are purely a tool to get a job done :anonymous:

Child slave labor is the best. My parents always thought so, at least. :notsure:
