What's up with all the people I talk to who put down x-runners? They never give a specific reason, but they generally don't like them. Anyone have a clue why?

it's kinda like when chevy brought out the extreme package on the s-dimes... they are nice trucks but personally i don't like em. the majority of owners talk them up like they are driving a truck they built them selves. it takes one smack talking bad apple to spoil it for the bunch.

The x-runner is silly for if you want a “sports” auto – should one not get a sports car? That is for the sake of argument. Lol.

A truck is a tool, not a car. I mean, what is the bed for if you can't haul anything? Nevermind..........somebody will have something to say, I am to old for that stuff!!!LOL

I use my XRunner more for work than anything else. Its really nice having a unique truck that most cant say they have owned!

Hey, I think XRunners are great looking trucks. There is nothing wrong with them at all. Its kind of like comparing rap music to country music. Some people only like rap while others like country. Thats why Toyota made the XRunners along with Regular Tacomas. I am a truck guy. I love lowriders and lifted 4x4's. Can you really call yourself a truck enthusiast when you limit yourself to a specific truck. If you never go off-road at all and love the look of trucks, The XRunner is perfect. I used to own nothing but lowrider trucks. I recently bought a 05 tacoma SR5. I got stuck making a u-turn on the shoulder of the road and that convinced me to buy the 07 Sport 4x4. Its all a matter of what YOU like, and what you need.

The X-Runner is the best truck I've ever owned, at least the most fun. I've had a lifted Bronco, a Lifted 4-runner, a Frontier, and I now have an X-Runner. I use it for work every day. Its got a built in bed-liner, a power converter for its electrical outlet, and its a blast to drive. I repair pool equipment and I use the crap out of my truck. I use it on the weekends for the fun stuff, but It 'Works' with the best of em. I would rather work out of my truck, then out of my girl's 03 4x4 Tacoma double cab. For the ride height alone, I gotta lift stuff out of the bed constantly, and I'm a tall guy, but why strain.....lower is good for your back....Ha Ha

The same people that think lowered trucks are stupid. IMHO, People are going to try to put down what they, personally, dont like. Its skinda stupid. X-Runners are some sexy trucks! And some lowered ones are pretty dam bad ass!

i like the xrunners alot i wanted one ever since i was 15 but then i hit my current size and needed a bigger truck lol but its not supposed to be a work truck its a really cool mid sized truck that would be perfect for running parts for a custom shop or lighter duty stuff it aint no hauler but it is a sweet little rig and whoever calls it a ladies truck is retarded ive never seen a better bone stock truck to work from a great 4.0L v6 that can be supercharged, tuned and a whole hell of alot of other stuff. anyone who hates on those little sick trucks has no idea what they are talking about.

i think the x runners are bad ass as well, and for the people who say they cant haul anything a friend of mine hauls his quad in it, we have squeezed 2 street bikes in the bed and it took it like a champ. they are a blast to drive, and not many people can say they have driven a dropped 6 speed play truck. they are purpose built but still more versitile than a car.

Don't they pull more g's around the skid pad then a 350z? I think they pull .98gs which is insane.
