    I was sitting on the deck after dinner with the dog when I noticed a bright red cardinal sitting among the white apple blossoms on my tree. The contrast was striking and beautiful. I went under the tree to capture the photo but the cardinal flew before I could take the picture. A professional photographer I ain't.
