Does anyone gas up at maverick? What’s the best gas station to fill up at in Utah?

I gas up where ever is convenient.

If I’m going home usually the Maverick on the way out of town. If I’m home it depends on what direction I’m going.

If you live in Logan you’ll see an absurd amount of Mavericks everywhere.

I usually seek out a Maverik if there is one relatively close to where I need to stop for gas. But I won't go out of my way to stop at one.

The Maverick in Filmore and in La Verkin are my go-to's though.

I’ve just heard a couple people say that maverick has bad gas. I just wanted to see what others had to say about it. Thank you though!

    not enough.
I thin kthey're not tier 1 gas (ie, they don't have detergents). it's not the end of the world to use maverick's gas. But I tend to stick to anythign with techron in it wherever I go. :)

Sure, Maverick is usually the cheapest gas in town. I don't know why, but Salina on I-70 has had the least expensive gas in Utah that I've seen, on average, for years.

And just to put it out there. I knew a guy that delivered gas. He filled up at the same places for all the different stations that he delivered to, and he said that Chevron had a little container of fluid about the size of one of those oil mixes for a gallon of chainsaw gas, that he was required to dump in his tanker. He also said that bad gas is usually from a tank that gets too low and is dredging up the slime from the bottom. If you're worried about getting bad gas just find out the delivery schedule and buy after they do a fresh fill.

Maverik used to be 2nd class gas because they didn't sell much and it had a reputation of being a little old. Now Maverik is the huge boom with a stores on every corner (literally on 9000 S and 300 West). They sell a oil tanker of gas and it's all very fresh. Maverik isn't known as "top-tier" like Chevron, 66, or Shell because they don't add as much detergent as the T1 stations do. That doesn't stop me. Federal law dictates that all fuel has added detergent in minimum quantities. T1 vendors won't tell how much they add over other stations so it's hard to make a educated decision on how different they are. I'm going with the freshest gas I can find and Maverik meets the needs. I've never had any issues with it. Maverik also sells non-ethanol (the blue pump) which I buy for my small engine needs.

Best yet, Maverik has killer home made burritos!

I'll do that but my patience runs too thin waiting in line for a half hour. I only tank up when the lines aren't around the corner. It's about 25 cents cheaper which if I buy 15 gallons is $3.75/tank. Sometimes I just don't have the time when going to and from work.

With my modded supercharger I guess I'm more picky and I stick with top-tier gas. Maverik is the only gas that's ever given me trouble ... my ECU pulled timing at WOT after one tank from there. Probably wouldn't bother other engines or anyone else not getting on it.

When I had an old Corvette with a built engine, Chevron was the only gas that wouldn't cause "run-on" after I shut off the ignition. No idea why.

I like the Maverik breakfast sandwiches and a coffee, probably a little too much. In my entire driving life I've never once given a thought to where I buy my gas. It's like hmmm tanks empty, Oh look a gas station, lets go there. Since Maverik is close to the office I end up buying a lot of gas from them.
