I prefer those over the bigger ones on the 01+ actually.

What kind of suspension do you have up front? I knew the spherical bearings in my Kings were going bad when I was getting a clunk from the front end when braking and accelerating from a stop.

5100s/OMEs/stock use bushings instead of bearings so it wouldn't be the case for those unless it's a shot bushing maybe

    I just did a thing fellers20210419_121839.jpg

I gotta say @Speedytech7 it's a damn well built box for the price, and the bigger drawers have double roller bearing sliders which the Husky equivalent did not have. Plus it's at least 1, maybe 2 gauges thicker than the company husky boxes as well

I've debated running 'em, like a 1.25" maybe. But then I figure it's just not worth any potential issues down the line really.

I don't run em cause I have a hard enough time torturing lugnuts correctly, I'm sure I'd kill myself loosing a tire if I ran spacers

Plus who needs spacers for 26" wheels:luvya:

Pretty sure you're supposed to locktite the wheel spacers on, at least my buddy with a 2nd gen did when we put them on his.

Cross threading is way more permanent than locktite

Nice! Told ya they're pretty competitive. Did it come with the foam drawer liners too, my Husky top box didn't had to make my own which was a pain

Hell yea! I'm pleasantly surprised it included liners, my biggest complaint is the top drawer isn't quite deep enough for deep sockets clipped into a holder that stands em upright. I going to have to get the rail style and lay em over.

I'm sure they're probably okay for 1/4 and 3/8 deep (I haven't made it that far in unpacking my tools) but my 1/2 and 3/4 guys are too massive lol

If yours is broken I have a passenger one about to go in the trash. My 99 came with the driver side busted out so I replaced both with 01-04 style.
