    Benchmades are the shit. We got issued them at my last command and those things were sharp as hell and held up against salt water incredibly well.

    :eek: My bad I posted then looked. I got on Benchmade after that to check out prices as I was curious as well :spy: They're expensive for sure but well worth it. Had a buddy with the Infidel and that thing is sweet as fugg but if there's something blocking it, it won't discharge fully (aka leaving you fucked) We were issued the 140 Nimbus and that thing was amazing. Oldest knife they make and my only experience but that thing was nice. Regular point with combo edge so I think around 170. Not bad

    EDIT: I will say this for SOG, the rope/line cutting feature in the sheath is nice but I always had to (dullness) or without thought pulled out my knofe to cut line

    I got a buddy with an Infidel. Paid 280 for it. only downside is its a 300 dollar knife that will get you into a felony charge. Pretty nice knife tho.

    Like I said, thing is effin sweet! Love how it's just a push of your thumb. Not illegal foe LE/Mil though :D Also benchmade has it listed for 450 number 3310 IIRC :confused: Way too much

    He bought it off a LE friend. Didn't realized they had a single edge one as well. He offered it to me for 250 once I passed. Couldn't spend 250 for a EDC knife that would get me arrested.

    Other than Benchmade, I really like sog knives. Especially their piston lock. Had my flash for about 1 year. used it for cutting branches, awg wire, sawing plastic, sheet metal(really thin stuff) cutting tires/cutting the tire off the rim, cut dry wall, split 2x4 and 2x6 and many more. now its starting to dull out time for a replacement.

    I have carried the Flash II since 2004. It is a very durable and well built knife. I am sure the Trigent would be similar.
