    Always changing
Got it’s first oil change today at 1200 miles. This MotivX kit is pretty awesome. Trimmed the tube about half way, works a lot better. The funnel, filter wrench and filter drain all work awesome. Well worth it for me with as much as I change my oil.

And of course whatever I work on, the inspector is making sure I do it right...

Nice work, but of course there was a very stern looking inspector observing so nothing less would be expected.

Changed out the head unit knobs. Hondogarage sent me the wrong ones. These are the Entune premium Knobs for 2016 - 2019 Tacoma. Pretty pricey knobs @ 25.00 a set

What's the reasoning behind wanting to convert your truck to electric?

From what I've seen, the conversions that people are doing these days generally range from $5k-10k, and leaves you with a vehicle that weighs like 1000+ lbs more, and has a range of less than 100 miles.

Seems silly to drop that cash now on a gimped electric truck, when you can just save money by waiting for real electric trucks to hit the market. You likely won't be spending $5k-10k on gas before they hit the market.

I haven't found a company yet that are doing proper Tacoma conversions yet to see what the actual cost and range are. I've seen some DIY kits out there,
but they do not interest me. My Taco has 1800 miles on it now, and I figure spending $15k to $25k for a proper conversion with a good 300 mile or longer range is cheaper than
buying a new truck for $50k plus. Maybe I'm wrong.

You're probably right, but by the time Toyota does it, and at my age, I'll probably be dead!
Drove the new electric Mach-E the other day. This electric shit is great!!

Electric GT is the most mature I think in the crate motor space. You're still looking at 60k or more since they don't have the economies of scale like tesla or ford.

Installed a @hondogarage unholy phone mount system. I was really surprised with the quick shipping. All the way from MT to AZ! Ordered Friday, and got it today.
I saw some QR code things for install instructions but didn't need them. Install was simple and straight forward. Took about 5 minutes, longest part was adjusting the phone to my liking.

You don’t want an EV that uses the layout of an ICE vehicle, nor do you want a converted ICE vehicle. Neither take advantage of a skateboard design placing the batteries at the lowest point and giving the cabin the most amount of usable space.
