I have a 308 suppressor in jail now. Put it there in January. I’ve lost track of how many suppressors about over the last 11 years. I do know this though the shortest time I ever waited for my stamp was three months and that was for my sub machine gun. The longest was nine months. I’m pumped this forum has this sub forum. Very cool.

Me too, I gotta order the plan A adapter though.
Unfortunately we don’t, range/dedicated gun store is in the works but as of right now we’re a gun/pawn shop with no range. We were supposed to add a range 2 years ago (I think it was) but zoning issues or something came up so our boss has been working with the city to get stuff changed. I haven’t heard anything other than rumors around the shop that progress is being made though.

filed eform1, personal use, received the confirmation “in process” email within a day or two, and took months for the final stamp.

There’s another thread here (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/ar-15-bs-thread.27862/) where we’ve discussed the lengthy time to get a stamp, even with the eform.

Did you get a pending background check or something that would require a longer wait time? Did you give them a call and ask what the hold up was? When did you file? Gotta give is some details so we can hate the NFA with you for your slow times. You posted the AR15 BS thread but I don't see you linking to a specific post.

The posts are throughout, not specifically addressed like this post. I didnt receive a “pending” email and didn’t call, so maybe I can’t totally blame the system. My good friend is an ATF agent, and he told me even with the eform, people would be lucky to get anything faster than 3 months, but that was recent not like last summer or anything.

Did you get the cover sheet you print out and send in with your print cards as soon as you submitted the eForm?

Only people I know that had to wait were the ones that picked their own model number or name.

I really wanted the model of my 9mm suppressor to be Hit Man Cans, but figured the ATF might not have as twisted sense of humor as me. I let the model number section listed as N/A.

When you say model number do you mean serial number? My form 1 had a custom serial number and still took 30 days.

Nope, they all have to have a "custom" serial number. They don't have to have a model name or number thou.

What do you mean by custom serial number? You can choose any serial number you want. Mine is my favorite number.

I see what you're saying now. Never did a form 1 with a custom model number before.

I mean the serial number like yours. Childers let's you choose a custom serial so I have three receivers with serial numbers I came up with.

I didn't track actual dates but my F1 was held up about 3 months, because I got cute and assigned a model name so it was stuck in "pending research" for a while. They're supposed to take no more than 45 days usually.

What do you mean by "prints are on file?"

I have 6 stamps and had to send in a new set of prints with each one.

I use Silencershop exclusively to do my suppressors, a few years ago they rolled out the “Silencershop kiosk” to digitally take fingerprints, since I used the kiosk for my previous purchase Silencershop has a digital copy and can just attach my prints from my last form to the current form.

    Well that's cool as fuck!

I wish the damn police department could do digital prints instead of the old ink ass shit on the blue line cards.
