After I get over this it'll be close to 7 months. When I tripped all I could think about is not goin down on y knee I just had my ACL replaced in. I reached out with my left arm to brace myself and tore up all kinda stuff when I dislocated it

Can't wait to put these last 7 or 8 months behind me. What really makes me mad is getting to be beautiful days for fishing. I usually do alot of trout fishing over the winter and couldn't do this year so was hoping to get out a lot this spring. Oh well just gonna be a little while longer till I can wet a line, was only able to get out 2 times this year so far

I spent the day cutting the grass. The conditions were just about perfect, sunshine and cool, with a nice crisp wind to keep me from sweating.

Went in to town to stop by Lowe's for a couple things. Also needed to stop by and mow my friends yard as she's been gone for almost two weeks. Don't want her coming back to a jungle. Took the back way and funny enough went past @MoneyMan55's house.

Came back home and did a little bit of piddling on the Talon. Got the awful bubbling tint off the rear window. Unfortunately the defrost lines were already destroyed, so it did make my life a little easier.

Took it to grab some bulbs and wobble pops and also topped off the tank to add some fuel treatment. Removed the goofy ass HID setup for the standard 9006 bulb setup. Also started on the carpet and seat cleaning. Pretty sure my Bissell green machine is gonna get worn out after this one. Seems the ZEP carpet cleaner I picked up mixed 50/50 seems to be doing the trick too. Don't know how people let their vehicles get so disgusting! Disconnected the battery during my window tint removal so I wanted to let it idle to try and relearn some settings. For grins and giggles I tried the A/C. What do you know it works and is ice cold! o_O

I know, you guys are probably going to get tired of seeing this thing, I apologize in advance!

I completely understand your point of view as that was me for years. And paid for it again and again...

Eventually I started listening to my body and putting the young guys in front, things got a bit easier.
Take care of yourself bud, you want to have something left to retire with, hope the surgery goes well.

Thanks. These months of being off is definitely opening my eyes that I'm not as young as my head thinks it is.

    Ain't that the truth...:ballchain:

I was at the doctor several years ago and started grouching about this and that like you do. My doctor (who is old enough to be my kid) very quietly says "you have to understand that you're not 30 any more".
Well, I was mad enough to spit nails  -- not that he said it -- but that I had to admit it.
