I drove it, it went good for the short ways I drove it.

Watching wicked tuna since everyone else is in bed, state holiday “patriots day” tonight so I’m off this one. Apparently mahk wallburg made a movie about it... been 8 years since the bombing and they didn’t run the marathon for the second year in a row.

 

Enjoy your night off...……..I'm down to one more after this and have no clue about what I'm working in May...….looks like they aren't gonna give me vacation and I'll be stuck here on nights until June. It is what it is...but still sucks

 

Why no vacation?

 

Something about the hospital is at low productivity and b/c they new ER isn't open. I thought it was the perfect time for me to take vacation. They aren't having to pay someone OT to fill my spots. It doesn't seem very logical to me......but what do "worker bees" know

 

This was the response. Yet when someone pulled up the unpublished May schedule, all the shifts were filled except for 3 nights. 2 of which I wasn't suppose to work anyway

 

As the mill used to say, we don't see the big picture.

 

Being short staffed I can understand that excuse but they also say that they are experiencing low productivity. I take it that means low patient count.

 

They won't let us cash out ETO(unless we want to take a 40% of the value) and then I can't take the ETO I've earned...….

 

Damn a 60% cut! That's cruel.

 

Yup. The VP sent out an email telling us we needed to take our ETO so that we could unwind...…….guess that only applies when it's convenient for them

 

I got 5-6 weeks of vac saved up and earning at the rate of 4 weeks a year, senior most person on my shift in a union situation; i dare you to deny me my time off...

 

I'm sitting on 330+ hrs of ETO, 1130+ hrs of long term sick. I earn 8 hrs of ETO each check. They cap our ETO at 500 hrs and are about to cap our long term sick at 1000 hrs. I'll lose all of my long term over 1000 and they aren't paying us for it...….and there's not really anything I can do. I need this job b/c of the insurance and how they pay for all my diabetes supplies.. It is what it is at this point.
