I should do that out front. Out back we have a dog digging holes and using it as a bathroom, I'm not too concerned about the back yard. Maybe one or two small sections where we like to hang out outside, otherwise :notsure:

Front yard is all jacked up though. Trying to recover one main section with some clover we'll see how well that goes, and then the other right now has pallets and some logs seasoning to dry out so I can split them later, that sections beat to hell too. Same deal - should probably try some clover.

Doesn't help that we don't have irrigation and all things considered, don't really care  so if the clover has a good hold then I'll keep that up. That stuff likes to spread though, but that's the goal!

We went out for lunch at work today - made the mistake of going into Seekonk.

Holiday, PLUS it's spring break this week.........forgot that exists.

My back yard used to be really nice. It’s partially shaded so the grass doesn’t scorch in the summer. It was just traffic that did it this year. And, I did find a couple grubs digging things up so, although I’ve blaming my boys, those little bastards may have eaten up my lawn from below. So, I treated for the grubs, seeded and fertilized. We’ll see how it goes...

@DoubleRGirl for some areas of our business I didn't want to pay for nice clean dirt, I've been throwing compost on it a few times a year for the past 2-3 years and have noticed it holds up alot better, and it handles the weather better too. Helps create good dirt and a living soil:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Put down a deposit on an aluma trailer today, its been on order but isn't coming until July I guess. They also said that there stuff has been coming a couple weeks late all year. Oh well. Having them add brakes since with the MIL's kubota and a trailer is close to as much as the 1st gen weights itself, so I'll need them.

Which means I need to instal a brake controller and 7pin on my truck too....at least I have a month or two at this point.

Ended up getting one off of e-trailer.com Got a wire kit and 7pin kit too. Gonna maybe install myself, maybe ask my electrician buddy.

    You're gonna need to re-gear your re-gear!!!

20200406_123414.jpgtook this in on a trade about a month ago. Put a new hf predator motor in. It flies, promptly found out that a Subaru Impreza bumper will cost 1k. On my 12-year-old son's maiden voyage he dodged a dog and crashed into the subi. He's fine, car is fine. Ass of a neighbor didn't want to play ball with the insurance so I had to eat the cost. Needs real steering and it has an open diff that needs to be eliminated but it was fun for 10 minutes. Guess it's going to the project graveyard:(
    Had to vent

No keep that going! Sounds great.

We used to have a go kart that didn't have brakes and we drove it all over town. Sometimes you'd just have to floor it and pray at intersections

I walked through that place around ten years ago. Since then I think they did some cleanup upstairs and converted the old site manager's office into an equipment room for a Christian radio station. I suspect the lower level is still untouched though.

Yeah, this has ok brakes and I think it started life as a wood chipper? The og motor and gearbox were lived in and rusted out. My MIL has the same car and just fixed the same out of pocket so I have a good idea on cost. Oh well, probably fix it up a bit and trade her off if the boy doesn't show interest after a little time.

Don't kill the project! If anything install a regulator for the throttle, so he can only open it up so far. Better he learn how to drive now, than when he's 16. It'll cost a lot more than $1k to fix what he'll be crashing then

My daughter will probably be ready! She's only 7 months tho, so we got a little time lol

I was telling my wife I used to wake up at 4:20am in college with some buddies and smoke. had to set the alarm because who the hell wakes up then on their own....

Now I'm up everyday at the time to make sure the kid doesn't wake the wife too early! What a change
