Took my 3rd time before I got my license. Just wrong time and place on the first two and couldn't really commit the time and money.

Scheduled for three 2hr sessions per week until its done. Husband needs a relief tow pilot so thats the end goal: PPL, TW, Spin, Tow.
Flew around PWM a bit yesterday, was nice to be back in it and remembered most of it (my landings still leave a lot to be desired). I have an aversion to pulling the nose up just due to habit coming from a glider the last 20 yrs with no power so thats going to be interesting to overcome.
Having that whirly thing in the front is gonna take some getting used to.

Good thing you got twenty years experience with non-whirly thing in front. Should the whirly stop keeping you cool, you'll be in glider mode.

Kind of cool how you can make out the ice roads still on the rotting ice.

And just another shot of her put to bed. No touching up. The pixel just has a good camera/camera software. PXL_20210417_004553511.jpg

I tried to get a shot like that last evening while I was doing some work outside, but what I thought was my phone in my back pocket was actually a bottle of Maguires scratch and swirl remover. Didn't want to miss out tonight. The weather is suppose to turn tomorrow. Winter wants to give us a last parting shot.

I am on the Transport Canada float instructor list, yes. And it is super fun! I just wish my plane had more space, and covered more ground per tank so I could do pilots and paws like yourself.

The pilots n paws flights are super fun. My work schedule has been totally crazy the past couple months so I haven’t been able to do a PnP mission in a while. I’m not familiar with Transport Canada, what is that?

We have 4 dogs. All rescues. I can only imagine how rewarding those PnP flights must be. Transport Canada is our regulator. Similar to what the FAA would be to you.

Congrats. The instrument rating is probably the most difficult rating. The rest of them are somewhat redundant. Are you planning on getting your CFI’s?

Yep - Commercial, Multi, then CFI, II, Maybe MEI if they will let me...ha! Then building hours or working towards some career. Going to get tail and float along the way too. Gotta find a way to afford a float plane and then fly it too...All in time!

Woohoo! Commercial will be a walk in the park compared to what you just did

Instruments was “fun.” I was dumb enough to do it 3 times. Once in the helicopter, once in a 172 and I got my cfii in the helicopter. The hard part is over though! Commercial is a fun rating.

I'll do this in order, Lol.
We have a chow border collie Named Jett, and a Corgi pitbull mix named Fiona. I call them the sisters because we adopted them on the same day, at the same time,
    PXL_20210418_020136281.jpg IMG_20180816_183926.jpg
There's Otto the german. He came from via Westside German Shepherd Rescue in Los Angeles. Fortunately he loves snow and fresh water,
    PXL_20201008_224551273.jpg
And the most recent additional, Hobart. He's also a chow mix. Not sure with what. My girlfriend says she sees pitbull, but I don't see it. Hes our third chow mix. She had a purebred chow as a kid, and it was stubborn and mean according to her. We've found that chow mix make the best dogs though, in our opinion. None of the nasty traits. Just mellow, sweet, go with the flow dogs.

Oh I love that border collie. I used to have a pure border collie until she died in 2020. Now I've got a pure australian shepherd who's 10 months old.
