Alright, I concede. Brand new 2.5s with adjusters ordered from Headstrong. Now the wait begins. I'm slightly concerned my leafs I'm installing on Wednesday might be too much for my OME stuff. Might be rolling face down/ass up for a few weeks. Or I'll just have to put a shit load of weight in the back

Carbon tripods are a game changer. I have one for my spotting scope and when I'm out with folks with traditional tripods they are amazed at the weight difference.

Interesting. I just took a peek at one of them on Amazon - they are showing the capacity to be 9 kg (19.8 lbs).

Oh, nice! Can't go wrong with Sony man and seems like they're dominating the photo industry with their technology. PX purchase? I've never had a carbon fiber tripod before. Currently have a manfrotto compact action that I like but before it was cheapest I can find Amazon basic brand and Sunpak.

    Edit
I should add all those tripods broke on me but the manfrotto seems to be holding up fine so far. 2 years of ownership with the pistol grip swivel head.

Sort of, it's been out of the photograph game for 10 years now. Alot has changed and in that time. Mirrorless seems to be the way to go. The 5d mark iii still has it's place for being a old camera, good work horse. I may decide to buy one as a backup

Does it have a hook on the bottom to attach a weight for stability? Seems like it would be good to have if you run a slider.

Its an entry level welder but works okay for simple stuff, main drag is the cleanup required since its flux. @WrecklessAbandon maybe it can be payment if you want it for helping with the lift, if I ever get to that hahaha.

Try some spatter spray. That should reduce your cleanup quite a but
