7 years a 5 lugger, now a 6 lugger

Long time reader, first time poster. Needed two more doors I accommodate my growing family, and so had to move on from my 2.4l extra cab: which I deemed the BEST motorcycle hauler and work truck, to get this TRD. Gotta say, I miss that little truck and great gas mileage (27.5 MPG over ~70k ownership - but this truck is also awesome so far. When I first bought my 2.4l years ago, I used this forum to get my bearings on maintaining/repairing the then new to me 96, and that seemed to have a great outcome, as it was always trouble free.

Now, once again I find myself with a new to me truck, and so I'm one again using this forum, this time to get my 2003 up to snuff and running solid.

Since getting the truck, this forum has helped me to realize that I could get a key fob, which is now installed and running awesome. I also did a little bit of research on the door s keeps, which are badly worn on the driver side doors front and rear, and used some research to do diagnostic work both on the engine, which has a very very slow leak likely from the cam valve cover gasket or Cam lobe seals. I also hope did some diagnostics on the steering rack, which seems to be an excellent shape at this point.

Just wanted to take the time to check in, I spent 15 years as a bike mechanic and touring musician, now I'm a metal fabricator. I'm going to post a separate thread, but if anybody has CAD files for a first generation Tacoma front and/or rear bumper, I'd really appreciate it! I hope to make a aluminum plate bumper, and with shipping the way that it is, it's going to be so much cheaper for me to have the parts cut locally.
