16s or 17s

 

16’s stock. You can do either or. 265/75/16 or 285/70/17. Back space and offset also play into this too pending on the wheel choice

You should be good. However I know those don’t have a - offset. If you put some spidertrax spacers on it would definitely help with clearance and give the wheels a little poke past the fender. ......like my pic in my sig

I lived in humbolt park once upon a time......well before what it’s become. I lived there only until I was 6 then moved out to the burbs about 1/2 hr down 55 to Bolingbrook. Now I live 15 min further south in Plainfield.

I flew out to Long Island, NY to buy my Pro after finding it with 22k miles. Had no luck finding anything in the midwest states near me. That was back in 2017. Was a trade in at a Ford dealership.

 

Was the SC already installed or did you do that?
I found mine in El Paso, TX and did a fly and drive too.

I drove to Cedar Rapids Iowa for my Baja.

 

I found mine in Charlotte NC with 28,000 miles in February 2019. Flew to Charlotte and drove her home.

 

I did the SC. Truck was bone stock except I think the Ford dealership pulled the BFG KO2s and replaced them with Firestone Destinations which i sold and put KO2s back on.

 

Did all the Pros come with the silver TRD skid plate or was that a separate option? Mine's black.

 

Separate option. I don’t know of a black one unless you’re referring to the thin splash shields?

Oh.... so that's not technically a skid plate, good to know.

I know the TRD one isn't some sort of Moab Rated 1/2" steel but seems like it'd be cool to have anyway. Might have to spring for one.

 

I don’t know if they still sell it, but BPF sells an identical one that has the TRD stamp that is black. I have one. Every so often I’ll see one pop up I. The for sale section.

 

The TRD stamped ones are no longer being made so to come across one is a rare find! They’re fairly beefy
