OVTune 3.5L Tacoma Supercharger and Twin Turbo Systems

No longer overboosting! Actually underboosting now lol maxing at 6psi, need to adjust actuator arm tension just a tad to bring it back up to 7

 

Just gotta wait until it's not piping hot lol

 

I'd recommend just not touching it at all, use your boost controller

 

It's not even installed because fedex sent it off to fucking illinois and I was sick of overboosting and wanted it fixed.

I can stay at 6psi, not really a big deal. Want me to send a datalog tomorrow morning?

 

The tracking shows it was delivered to "front porch" yesterday??

Okay so on this final tune we made several changes.
Allowing leaner AFR at low RPM and full boost >2200 rpm, through a lot of VE tuning we can remain near stoic (14.3) at full boost safely. This provides better low rpm response.

several other changes to improve drivability, smoothness on/off boost.

But I needed to ensure a few things
1. Our new fuel pump controller is up to the task for this and higher boost
2. That the new tune provides similar power figures as before.

been on the dyno most of the day today with that, will publish tomorrow. (yes it still makes similar power, 325whp/357 ft lb)

sorry that it has taken much longer to get to this point than expected, but I am thoroughly stress testing these. (20 second dyno pulls from 1500 RPM full throttle to 6500)

I still cannot believe how much you have abused the 3GT and it holds up. I remember back when u found the throttle limits and you said lets see if we can break something now. Clearly you havent broken anything yet!

 

How many miles on pavement with 4Hi now?

Even though it is one data point, it relaxed me quite a bit.
