Thanks again and much praise to @tonered and @Shellshock for posting and helping in this thread. I've update mine and a few friends with 3rd Gens. I should have done this long ago.

Sorry for the silly question, but I am a complete noob. When I hook my computer up to the ECU, is there a place in Techstream to see the ECU ID? I know I had the tsb-0062-18 done but didn't know if it was the latest ECU ID or if I still need to update it.

    Not a silly question.

That is the latest TSB for a 2018 AT (04A61). There should be one coming that is similar to TSB-0092-20 though.

    Here you go:

Thanks! So if I am looking at it right I just need to run a health check and it should tell me the ECU ID in the engine section?

Everything is in the first post. V14 is given with the step by step installation instructions. V15 is linked with a general approach to getting an activation key.

I’m getting an error Unable to connect to VIM. It’s Ver 14.20.019 I have a 2017 04B04. I am disconnected from WiFi because I was getting the update message and it says my subscription expires in 5000+ days. I am able to connect with VF tune. Does anyone have advice?

Hey guys I was just wondering if there is a video or step-by-step instruction on how to flash the ECU. I want to update to the new 04B33 for my 19 but I'm super afraid to brick my ECU. But I guess that how you learn. i have all the things needed. I have tactrix cable and v14 TS. I'm ready to do it. My truck lags so much I was thinking of getting a pedal commander but thought I would try this out better. again Im super new to the truck game, but i want to get my truck up to speed.

No video that I am aware of, but there is TSB-0134-16 in the 1st Post. It shows the step by step screenshots. Of course, you're using TS V14 with a Tactrix adapter, but . . .

The TSB will show different tools or TS versions, like the Mongoose cable.

Once you have TS set up per the 1st Post, then just follow the instructions in the 1st Post or those in the TSB.
