Best truck on the road ^^

Notice i said on the road, not off road. I can understand why the chassis is too long for a proper offroad build. The extra length makes it float on the highway though

I take my LB off-road, through some pretty rough stuff keeps up with the SB gang.
I just have to make some 3 pointers when it gets real tight

I beg to differ....there are a lot of full size trucks that are the same length or longer. I off road mine all the time. It.makes it more interesting :)

Look i never said you can't offroad a DCLB. Im just sayin that all mods being equal, a shorter chassis will be more maneuverable than a long chassis

It's definitely true. I'd definitely like to have an access cab, but I use both the long bed and the double cab way too often

I've come uncomfortably close to high-centering the shit out of mine lol

Obviously there comes a point where (longbed or shortbed) you need skids and sliders or you shouldn't be out there

I've been high centered several times and had to winch or get pulled. Haven't been since 37's and long travel though. Lockers help a lot too. Basically had to do all that stuff to overcome the length of the dclb for the trails we have. I haven't really been held back by turning radius though. Just have to pay attention to your line more and occasionally back up a bit
