Thank you!! Yes, it did cut down the output, more than I like, but I don't use them as often as I like, being in traffic quite a bit. They still work, and fill out to the sides and below of my projector beams a decent amount. I might try switching to 4300K instead of 6000K, that may help a little, not sure.

I've been going back and forth between whether to get a 3" or 6" lift. Since you've had both of the ones I've been looking at, what are the pro's and con's to both of them? Most of my driving is on roads, with occasional light off-roading, so how's the difference in ride?

Also, how easy were the installs? I've worked on my past cars, but have never done suspensions before.

    Thanks

They really are two different lifts. It's gonna come down to what will make you happier most likely. My three inch lift was a rougher ride because it had stiff coils to achieve most of the lift. My 6" lift has better adjustable coils up front. The six inch lift was installed by 4 wheel parts of Raleigh, I did the 3 inch lift install with some help. My six inch lift rides better, but it also has nicer components, you could also get a very nice riding 3 inch lift though, I've only tried one kind of 3 inch lift.

Thank you! I don't think it's too loud while cruising, it's got a decent note while accelerating. It's loudest when I first start the truck, and when I really get on it. Check out youtube for a general idea of sound levels, but you have to remember the camera quality will alter the actual sound when you listen on your computer rather than in person. What kind of bike(s) do you run?

not much done to the bike... yoshimura slip-ons, sliders here and there, HIDs, parking light mod, fender eliminator, integrated lightly smoked tail lights, flush mount blinkers, pazzor shorty levers, yamaha r1 red grippers... pretty much it.. hehe

What do you guys think of this photoshop of this lightbar for my truck? I've been thinking about adding a way to get light output down the road, and will use this for adding lights. Just an idea.

I remember you saying something about wanting one. I'm gonna have to figure something out if I want to run this. I want to keep my folding cover, and I have a small bedbox under that for storing stuff, so I'm not in it all that much.

If I eventually get around to doing this, I'm going to try to fab a "C" shaped bracket that the tonneau will slide into, and hopefully still have room to fold all the way open. HERE is a thread where a guy did it with a different type of tonneau, which pushed the bar up a few inches, allowing for more light throw.

This is a down the road project though, I still have to figure out what lights to put on top, but it will be perfect for mounting my 2 dually's facing backwards, just hanging down from the bar.
