the order of events. The timing chain cover leak was manageable and was just seeping until I power washed the lower end of the engine. I may have power washed to aggressively on the lower end blowing gasket material in because the leak was worse the next day. If the leak was worse the next day, that means I blew gasket material out of the timing chain cover area. In doing so, I must have blown water into the timing chain cover. Two things to consider.

    1. If water was mixed with the oil that would cause low oil pressure because it is thinner

2.Low oil pressure would make lifter noise?

Low power steering level, pump is cavitating. Just a guess.

Sounds like the fan hitting the fan shroud.

Oil pump maybe, a stethoscope is in order. You may have to remove the timing cover to see whats up.

What makes you think you have low oil pressure?
    Oil light?

Yes. The oil light flickered while the level was good.

In this case I’m with Bishop84.
I’d be inspecting the oil pressure and/or pump.

The sound seemed to be louder behind the crank pulley

That's where the oil pump is.

I'm not sure where to start... drain and fill and then check pressure...

Pull the dip stick & put a drop of oil on something dark like the top of the oil filter so you can see if it looks milky. That’ll tell you if you got water in it.

The sounds it’s making, I’d say it’s something else. Sounds like ducks. As already suggested, a stethoscope should be used to pinpoint the noise source.
