Any Members in Arkansas?

Anyone know somebody that can help me set up a LLC around here?

 

I just filed one in my primary state. What do you need help with? I'm still figuring lots out but maybe can help.

I actually just tried to do that with LegalZoom last night on the computer but I got stuck on one of the pages and was unable to move forward.

GMRS licensing fees are decreasing form $70 to $35 and are still valid for the entire family for 10 years. That seems very unlike the government!

 

Well y'all, I did it. I officially have an LLC. I guess I'll know tomorrow if I filled out anything improperly. Definitely no reason to pay legal zoom to do it. The fee for getting the LLC is $45 and I literally just put my name and address in all of the boxes. Still doing some reading on the IRS.gov site about taxes and such. Hopefully all of this will pay off and I can soon introduce to you all "MY" business. Thanks to @Reh5108 and @PinnaclePete for the tips.

 

Oh yeah? Did you get an EIN and Operating Agreement yourself? I'm not committed to paying LegalZoom for mine if I don't need to. Did you set it up as yourself being a managing member?

 

The EIN I looked at and don’t fully understand that yet but every section on the Secretary of State site (managing member, officer,... etc) all me. Didn’t fill out an operating agreement.

Bonfire Rendezvous - April 24th - Byrds Adventure Center

For those attending the Bonfire Rendezvous, you will need to stop by the Byrd's office when you arrive. If you are camping with us you will need to pay for your camping. If you aren't camping on Byrd's property you will be charged a day fee instead of camping. Make sure you are not charged a Byrd's trail fee unless you intend to try some of the trails in their off-road park. If you are just driving on National Forest trails you DO NOT need to pay Byrd's trail fee.


After paying for camping, and if you want to camp in the Bonfire Rendezvous primitive camping area where most will be, you will want to take the road in front of the restaurant and go through the red gate. Please stay in the mowed area. Also remember to Tread Lightly and no digging, please.


The NSO staff plan to arrive at about 3 pm on the 24th. We will have patches and stickers for sale and will have a limited number of NSO shirts (not Bonfire shirts) for sale for those wanting them. We will start the Bonfire at about 7:30.

My 6db works better on flat terrain and interstate, but 3 db does better in the mountains. I adjusted my squelch sensitivity some too, seemed to help with distance.

 

Good to know this. I went with the 6db antenna just like @MatthewMay1 posted. I just thought bigger means better right?

 

Yup, Jerol's Archers Advantage store is right behind my store. H20 Sports bought him out this winter.
