So, quick update...I've been hounding my sales rep for info and asked him if I supplied the kit (unopened) would they install and honor warranty (I know kit is not being offered on eBay). He says yeah. Nearly fell over. However, guessing he hasn't consulted with service department. Going in Thursday to check out new truck as they do the dealer prep and will pick up on Saturday. He also said, the would love to do the lift and have done several, but have none left in stock and the "All Stop" code is preventing the parts department from ordering more. What a cluster fawk.

Which dealership? Maybe I can convince mine to reach out and have it transferred. Long shot, but worth the effort.

Toyota of York had 2 or 3 in stock as of yesterday. They also mentioned there were a bunch available with next day delivery.

Listen, I get it. If you want to buy some 5100's and an AAL and DIY. You get a cheaper, better quality lift

But at least consider these couple things:

    1. Convenience - you take the truck to the dealership and by the end of the day it's done. They include your alignment.
    2. Warranty - lots of counter points to this but the bottom line is, everything they did is part of that warranty and they will make it right.
    3. Grill - you're also getting the pro grill

Personally, I've got a reputable off road shop near me and I already have a pro grill. Those are the only reasons I didn't pull the trigger on this.

Just got off the phone with the Toyota Dealer where I bought my truck back in May. Quoted as follows:
    $450 - Grill
    $1,275 - Everything Else
    $350 - Shocks

He noted that there is a "Stop Sale" on them currently.

I just spoke with the dealer that installed mine. They are going to check and see if they see the Stop Sale and ask why if so. I will update when I hear back.

The grille and fog light covers are part of the Toyota kit.

Wait.... Warranty is trash yet you'll let them do warranty repairs? I'm confused

How did they hassle you for 6 months? I'm not sure I understand what you're saying.

Grill looks dumb because of the TSS shield? What's your genius solution? Wierd looking cameras in your windshield like subaru?

    Nothing yet, lift coming soon!
Been emailing with my dealer on my forthcoming OR, he initially quoted me 2000 in March, then today back to $2995. I am not paying that much as that is insane.....

I will get it back to the $2000, not worried about that. The point of this post is that they made no mention of a stop order, but did say that it depended upon the availability of the parts. From what I am reading here that doesn't sound like it should be that much of an issue, however my dealer (Who has been impecible and awesome before this) seems to think there will be. I will be following this thread for sure to see what the deal is and if I hear anything I will be sure to update y'all.

Hickory - Have your sales guy/gal consult with parts and service, that's where they should see the issue. If they don't have the lift in stock and try to order, it will be blocked. I would feed them the lift part number and ask them to run a check and see what comes back. I did that with my dealer and call several other part centers and "All Stop" came up.

The reason I started this thread was in the hopes that there are some members who have close ties to Toyota and can share rationale of "All Stop." Is it a parts shortage or newly discovered problem i.e., needle bearings.

I'm not typically one to victim blame but based on how you've presented yourself here - I guarantee you one, maybe two things. You don't know how to articulate your vehicle issues in a way that gives the techs something useful to go off of. And/Or - they gave you the runaround because you went in there like acting like an ass.

Personally, I've had two things smoothly resolved at my dealership. ECU flash and vibrating on deceleration at <30 mph. Not all dealership service centers are the same - and you may have dealt with some turds - but not being an asshole will get you much further in life.
