They don't weigh much, if you don't strap them down there's no reason they won't take off.

 

Yeah I thought they were pretty soft really. The tc ones are much stiffer.

Wouldn't bother with em.

 

I have ES, my second pair. Are TC the way to go? The ES don’t last very long

 

Installed the

$166 denso 210-0461 denso first time fit alternator - 210-0461

denso 210-0461 alternator, really straight forward. Sitting at 14.2 at idle now.

 

Imo yes. Much better.

 

Wow... and they actually list the lower control arm bushings (that fit our trucks) for our trucks now.

They never would actually commit to it before.

 

That will be my next set!

Are the Sonora bushings still the ones to go with?

I just used the part number people said would fit, and they did. Not sure what make/model they were actually listed for. But now they list them for our trucks.

 

OK, stupid question. How does the TC kit fit 96-04 and everyone else has a kit for 96-00 and 01-04?

Yes, they are the ones to go with. Getting more expensive now though; I got them for $105 shipped.

You could also just buy an 01-04 rack to go with it hahaha

From what I can see of my Whitelines they look fine still and I have the cams crossed. That seems to be one item I don't blow through every year.

 

I just don't wanna deal with seized sleeves if I don't have to.

But I probably wont have to replace them again, so I guess I better consider that.

 

There's also Nolathane, the 4x4 shop in town that did mine uses these. Apparently they're really big in Australia and started up here in the US.

I've no complaints with them so far, been on for about 6 months

 

I've never had any issues with the ES steering rack bushings I have run. I have used them on my original rack and now on my OEM replacement I have now.

 

they seemed like slightly hard jello to me compared to the TC ones.

 

Not sure what to tell you my friend. I seriously considered reusing the original set I had on my stock rack when I replaced it. There was absolutely no indication of wear or any kind or softness in them.

I ended up going with a fresh set but I am convinced it was not necessary.

 

Same... my Whitelines are going on 2 years, still good.

 

It's been quite the week- new Toyo AT3 pizza cutters, OEM steering rack/OTRE/ES bushings, and finally FIXED THE STUPID CRUISE CONTROL WOOT WOOT. Bozeman bound this weekend to pick up my GFC.
