Good grit for sandpaper on these? Got part of one cleaned up before my sanding block wore out. Sprayed a spritz on it to see an idea of color

I had C language instructor want to give me an F on a final exam because he said he couldn't understand how I wrote some internal sort logic in basically 4 or 5 lines of code when he thought it should have taken something like 8. Then I arranged the data to be in the opposite sequence from the way came out +1 duplicate to prove equal matching logic worked. LOL I had to sit down and show how him how to sort through an array using machine addresses without going through a bunch of move A to B like statements. I'm glad that was the final and the course was over after that. I think he just learned how to teach the course the semester before mine. Didn't seem like a mature coder. I got a B in the end. He impressed me as someone who would get someone else in a shop to read his core dumps.

I used green scotchbrite pads to clean up my 5th wheel to paint it and it is holding up well. A little more durable imo and works better around creases without weakening the paper.

I think they are supposed to be equivalent to 400 grit if I remember right. They have different aggressiveness on different scotch rite pads so it might be good to get one around 200 and one around 400 but I wouldn’t go much below 200 on aluminum unless you want to really remove material. 400 was great for me

I’m excited to see your finished product because I’m always debating changing up the color of mine but I don’t want to commit to a color.

It pisses me off when a teacher takes points off for the process you use. If there is a process specified on the test that is one thing and I’ll follow it but when it doesn’t specify a process on the test... like I got the right answer what more do you want? If there is a different proses from what they teach that I like better I’ll use it every time because I’m more comfortable with it.

I got 100, 200 and 300k patches from these guys for the 4runner after hitting the 300k mark. They have stickers too, up to 500k I think. Nice patches, very well made.
