The moment I mentioned that I was pulling the predator steps off, I had a guy show up that day with $250. It would be best to find an access cab; generations two and three have the same bolt pattern from what I have read. If you lived closed, I could help machine those aluminum blocks. Still have my milling machine, but no more solo work in the shop as it keeps trying to remove fingers.

Fun yesterday picking up my Rx's. One was $25 a month with an insurance copay, no longer covered by insurance. $295/month for 30 tablets. WTF? That's over $3000 a year. Thankfully it is generic now, covered at $15 a month. Challenge was out of stock at my local pharmacy, but I was totally out and spent another hour driving around dealing with the other pharmacies to pick it up. 10 scripts, some are once a day, others six times a day, others are 10 tablets a day. I need a full-time planner to figure it, but I wish they all filled with 90 days on the same day. I've been on thyroid since 1971, but for years was grateful for one tablet a day (otherwise, I slept 14 hours).

Still dealing insurance claims, waiting on a HELOC processor who went radio silent (they are overworked, understaffed, so I try to be patient, but they have sent out their paperwork (Good Faith Estimate; Truth in Lending) that should have been issued within three days of the app. My wife is a retired Mmortage wholesale lender, so she knows way too much and is going nuts, which is driving me nuts. We still need to get concrete and pool work done.

Good guys to deal with. Traded my 2019 Highlander in on my Tacoma. I dealt with a dealer 700 miles away because they were much more reasonable and had the Tacoma I was looking for. They deal enough with Texas customers they sent Tax payment directly to my local county taxes, who notified me to get plates issued. Well, that collected 6.5% (Same as Colorado), but Texas is 6.25%. County reimbursed them; they sent me a check for the difference. When the Highlander went in, I had just made the payment on the 7th, sold on the 8th. Toyota Finance paid back the difference, so I got another check back for $600 on that one!

SWMBO is not happy this morning. Septic backed up last night. No heavy rains, but I need to check it at sunrise. Never a dull moment.

SWMBO [She Who Must Be Obeyed - a Rumpole of the Bailey reference]

Enjoy every sunrise; espresso is a great way to start the day.

    Good morning everyone,

Welcome Mcsosgt110, great bunch of people here and yes, sometimes we do share too much on a social media site but we have all become friends and support one another... Not a bad thing, look at it this way, if we were all in the same area we would be meeting at a local diner over coffee. I did envy the older crowd in the Wisconsin small town I grew up in, the farmers would all come in after morning chores and BS while drinking coffee.

Woke to 9 degrees and 10+" of new snow and a high today of only 30. Spent the day yesterday with Alice and a specialist for something she is dealing with medically. She will be OK, need a few more tests to eliminate a few things and dial in wat is going on. It is hell getting old, parts are parts and they wear out not to mention if we didn't take care of them properly they tend to wear out quicker... All will be fine.

Not plowing today, the ground is still warmer than the air and I do not want to keep plowing up my gravel driveway, it needs enough repair as it is so we will have to just deal with it for a few days as it will melt by the weekend.

Have a great day, be safe out there - now I have three pages here to read to catch up on...

Good Morning Porch Pals & Gal! One appointment today, and hoping for the AC clutch sensor to show up so I can try that on the Taco. Still drives on cool days!

Yes Tom @95SLE , our garden is the greenhouse, so it's sized by number too! Max 10 peppers, 8 tomatoes, and some herbs. Be trying the Aquaponic this week, so that adds to the mayhem of my gardening ability!

Sheesh @roundrocktom , I thought Walgreens computer was hard to deal with (two Rx?, let me call you two different times today, so you can visit twice!). Good luck buddy!

edit: oh, and welcome @Mcsosgt110 ! Cooler is right over there, by the recliner!

    Afternoon all:
:yay: One more spring project done, checked and aired up the rest of my tires, since I already had some done prior, I only had to do 21 tires this time.

Happy Birthday Mom! (Sorry, borrowing that for a minute!) Wife and I actually had lunch at a VERY nice place down in New Braunfels after our financial meeting. Could not believe she offered that up - those two shots do wonders for a person. She even agreed that she would let me take us out for upcoming Anniversary dinner!

What I week. Lottery tix tomorrow for sure!

Hello everyone, thanks for the big welcome. Just made it to the porch after a long day. Finishing up fabricating some pistol stands for our local 4H shooting sports club. Washed the wife's car and about a dozen more things. Enjoying my cold one. Nice day here about 60 and little cloudy. Till tomorrow.

    Good Morning Folks :hattip:.

Happy belated "Birthday Wishes" for your Mom Dave. God Bless her...94 :yay:.

Just noticed you are/were a LEO @Mcsosgt110...Thank You For Your Service . It's great you help out at the 4H. Volunteering is a wonderful thing to do, especially when the younger generation are the recipients.

Hope you all have a good day and be safe.

We usually go to outdoor seating restaurants during off hours. I agree it does feel good. Another Happy Birthday wish to your Mom.

Yesterday was a busy day for me.

Cleaned the pond filters, helped my wife burn the old shed ramp in the fire pit, finished the new shed ramp, and a few small jobs around the home.

Pic of the finished ramp, and the fire pit. LOL Have a great day everyone.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch! Yep, it's windy and mighty chilly here in Centex world today! Got a haircut on the schedule, then home to try and fix the AC - part came around dinner time last night. Don't need AC today, so it should probably fix it, right?

Yard looks nice Tom! Ours are just getting to that color green now!

    Good morning all,

Another cool day - at least we were in double digits this morning (20). Sun came out yesterday and a lot of the snow melted so the drive is partly cleared. Septic repairs scheduled for Friday, double exams tomorrow down in the Springs - eye and hearing.

Need to dig out (snow) the extension latter's, I have them hanging off the north side of the garage. No gutter or snow brake on that side of the garage so the snow piles up on it's own. We have a clog in the main downspout that is creating spill-over at the mouth of the gutter to down spout.

Alice and I stopped at one of our favorite breakfast/lunch establishments on the way home Monday from her consultation, first time in over a year and it was nice. They have removed 50% of the tables and were all wearing masks. No complaints or push back from the patrons - was an enjoyable time.

Have a great Hump Day for those still working. Be safe out there

Morning oldsters! Homemade spaghetti sauce simmering on the stove while I wash the taco in the garage. Get the granddaughter tomorrow so have to get things done today. My oldest daughter and grandson left to go back to Dayton Monday, great visit.
Installed my Snailarmor tailgate insert and Sabellco tailgate lock yesterday.
Cold and rainy here in PA.

Now I remember why I left Casper! - how many days since the last snow in PA? Gave away the snow blower and the mower - the same day! And left for AZ. Re-arranging the gravel seems to be more my speed these days.........

Glad to hear of successful bee keeping.......my grandfather had a considerable honey business at one time in Indiana. Hives here are mostly "africanized"? according to a fellow I know.
