Ah, interesting. Funny that option is left out just because of a different transmission.

I put a deposit down March 29. I am being told it is to be built tomorrow but the dealer has been extremely vague about where the truck is at in the process and ETAs. Originally was told delivery of 5/12 but now it has gone back to 5/17. Does anyone on here have the ability to check vins to see the build date etc?

I think that is because it's mostly a remote start app. But silly that they cannot still use the app for the other functions (Lock/unlock, tire pressure, fuel left...etc)

Put the order cement Trd off-road MT SB on 3/29 the allocation was accepted. As of today i still have not received any information on build date. Beginning to worry about the issue of chips shortages and how it could affect and delay even more my build

Actually, the M/T gives you updated mileage, fuel level and tire pressure, but not the other goodies such as lock/unlock, tracking and remote start. I can kind of understand the remote start, but why no lock/unlock or tracking?

It’s so strange. I got my temporary VIN last week and the truck was built on 4/16. I got the official VIN, and it shows up online but not in the app. Dealer is saying delivery between 5/17-5/20, but I sure wish I could track that.

Agreed. Mine was supposed to be here between 4/5-4/12, then 4/15 at the lastest, been in Chicago since the 14th, and I am still awaiting for the dealer to get delivery.

has any of you heard any delays due to supply chain constraints? I just read the below

Toyota and Honda said Wednesday that they would halt production at plants in North America because of a squeeze in crucial supplies, including plastic components, petrochemicals and semiconductors

I put a deposit down on March 22nd here in Ontario Canada. Got a picture from my salesman yesterday that said "Toyota Pipeline ETA & Inventory Summary" It said the plant was the Texas plant and ETA was April 27th - May 1st. The current status is "In Transit" so I would assume it's on a train to Canada. The file did not have a VIN on it but a VTN (don't know what that is) so I would assume it's still on its way to Canada?

thanks for the links. My March 1 allocation still showing a 5/4 build date as of today (actually moved up from 5/10)... fingers crossed, but yes it could still jump up and bite those patiently waiting I guess.

Yep! Hopefully, she gets here next week, cannot wait to drive it on the road coming from an extremely unreliable Silverado.
