I also had random aches when I hit the 40s. But, no one has mentioned how you're eyesight goes to sh1t in your 40s. Dealing with that now and it sucks having to struggle with taking your readers into a bar or just asking someone how much the bill is... I'll be 50 this year and am dreading it.

Anyone else also get, what I can only describe as like a heart flutter, or palpatation in the chest area that kinda makes you lose your breath for a second or create a cough....

I had a cardiogram done a few years back and they said it was a PVC? Premature ventricular contraction.... no reason and no solution.
I fucking hate it... feels like any day im gonna have the big one.

Genetics and environmental toxicity play a huge role in aging more than just wear and tear. Better take control of your health or you can look forward to decades of pain and shit quality of life. If you’re 40 you might only be half way there.

This isn’t political but wtf do you think all those nasty man made chemicals out there do to human cells? Just go away down the river or into the ether?

    Mines actually improved. :anonymous::anonymous:

I've been sightly nearsighted all my life. The eye doc told me that most people grow more far sighted as they age. So right now I'm at 20/20, but will probably need glasses again in a few years.

To clarify... my thumb didn't actually get cut off.. it was more like being pinched off... It was pulled between a spinning gear and a stationary shaft... about 1/16 inch gap between them... shattered the thumbnail and squashed the last 3/4 inch FLAT... I'm sure it crushed the bone, also.

The doc offered to x-ray, but said there was no point in it... if the bone was crushed, they wouldn't do anything with it, anyway.

It hurt for an hour or so... then went completely numb... and has been numb since.

Sounds like a magnesium deficiency to me. I had terrible cramps, and shooting pains, until I started taking better supplements and having a more balanced diet. Most people are magnesium, zinc, and vitamin D deficient. We as a modern people don't eat enough forage greens and seafood where these vitamins are mainly sourced, and Vitamin D from actually going out and hunting/gathering these foods.

I'm 31 yrs old, but have bad genetics, so I'm starting now to focus more on my health.

Thanks. Not going to Ohio. We have a very good neurologist in CO. We also pay cash because we're business owners and not in need of assistance. Leave that for those who need it the most.

Yes, it's scary huh? I get them more often than I'd like. Funny I never get them right before I go to the doc so I never remember to tell her.

I installed floorings, of all flavors for 37 years. I played with knives (so I've been told) that are more sharp than surgeons scalpels.
I cut fleshy things at times....fingers, and took the tips off, REAL QUICK. Open nerve endings. Hurt like hell.
The nerves will eventually grow back. A couple instances took years, but all is well now.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Pinched nerve in the neck. Why do I know this? I had a herniated disc in my C6/7 and the nerve was severely pinched. Symptoms? Thumb, pointer into middle finger all are numb. Pain up my arm, shooting pains down my back into my ribs/lungs. I would be great for 1-2 days, then lock up. Surgery has helped everything except for the numbness. I suppose I will have it till I die

Yep, I live in the country and breath in cool, fresh air everyday. I go to Denver and cough my brains out with the smog and some of y'all have it way worse in bigger cities. Screw that.

I am 58 years old, crashed on a street bike at over 100Mph when I was 18, woke up in the hospital when I was 19. I have experienced pain all my life. But I still run through the forest, ride dirt bikes, wheel offroad, jump my sandrail, shoot guns, and can get in a good fight if needed. Today I just do it all alot slower. I am 6' 5", weigh in about 265, and not afraid to say that a good hot bath makes me feel alot better. Pain sucks, especially when it's random in different places. Stay young my TW brother's.
