The other nice thing is the nozzle gets stored in the can. A) it keeps it clean and B) theres not much of a chance of hitting / breaking it

Well the truck is most likely totaled.
I was essentially stopped, waiting on oncoming traffic before turning left. I guess the driver behind me wasn’t paying attention because he rear ended at highway speed probably going 50-60 mph.
I’m getting on the vehicle search immediately. I have about 2weeks with a rental.
I have several considerations (must be 4x4)
    $8-12k budget
    1st double cab Tacoma
    3rd gen 4Runner
    05-06 double cab tundra

    17-22k budget
12-15 trd OR double cab Tacoma
    Gx470/gx460
    10-13 trail edition 4Runner

Good. $17-22k buys one hell of a nice 100 series LC or LX470.

At that budget range, maybe a used land cruiser?

Holy shit man, glad you and fam are ok. Thats a significant hit at those speeds

Seems like your past luck is questionable on the 1st gen tacos / 3rd gen runners :D

I just scored a military fuel can and spout for $60, from a fb group. Brand new too.

    Damn! glad youre ok.

I vote for a GX470 sport with no nav. I think you can get them for around 8-14k with semi-low miles (like under 150k). A luxury v8 cant be beat. And can still haul the family.

A friend bought and built out a 460, but I really hated how it looked. And he got a 2013 with nav. I guess that gen/year had the nav/radio/hvac in one unit, so if your nav wasnt working, neither was your radio or ac/heat. And it was super expensive for him to fix (and not a permanent fix either) I think around $1600 for a new unit from Lexus. Thats why I recommended a 470 without Nav.
His is the second picture in this thread:

    This is  IMO:

I hear the double cab Tundras have horrible turning radius too.

The person had 4. I can ask them if they have more, or if they get them often.. It was right next to Ft Meade, so I think they go through them often. But ill keep an eye out. The plastic military ones go quick and for $$$, so I might need to jump on it if I see ones for sale for ya.

I know I’ve never even posted in the thread but that’s about 30mins from me if your interested and I could try to find a home for it till I could meet up with someone to pass it off to. I’m also not 100% sure how something like this works out.

usually @CttAznRanger would pay, then coordinate you and the seller to arrange pickup. Then kinda hold onto it until Brandon can find someone for you to hand off.. if youre up for storing that big of a thing.

I didn't realize they were plastic. Metal preferred I guess? Like Wavian, lol. I might have to just sign up for the listings lol.
