Does anyone know if that guy on reddit who yolo'd 50k on GMED instead of GME held? If I recall he bought in around $50 a share and it's at $71 right now

Yes,
It will be live quotes on think or swim, TD, Fidelity etc...they pay for live quotes...You get it as a benefit.
For most general free sites the quotes are delayed....
The exchanges make money by charging for live quotes...

 

Just broke 300K shares on that pop to $1.90...
Now look for those shares to get borrowed and short the stock to the bell...

So whats everyones take on today volume? Not just on GME, but I poked around at several of the big stocks, and every single one is about half its avg volume right now. With only 1 hour and 15 minutes remaining, I cant imagine that we are going to see them hit normal volume for the day.

I put my thoughts a couple pages ago. Basically a ponzi scheme going on since the 80's and we've never actually owned any of our shares for anything.

 

Brings the question then, if the squeeze happens, what stopping them from straight up saying "sorry, you dont actually own anything, but it was all Gary's idea, so he is the one going to jail, we didnt know about it"

 

Nothing really aside for total loss of faith in the US markets for the foreseeable future

I have this feeling.
Everything's average seems very low. I get this feeling that GME isn't going to take off, then the other side of me is thinking most things have went red for quite a while now (W/O TURNING THIS INTO ANYTHING POLITICAL to hurt feelings) however, the other side of me thinks that its money pulled out of other places to play the game on these few high targeted "Meme" Stocks that have been going haywire for awhile now. Rather that is to hold them off where they won't take off, or to buy time to ride it out, i have no clue.

I'm not anywhere next to a pro in the stock market or even an average player. I just have these feelings from looking around over the last few months.

Hope they issue a refund on what loses that everyone has lost because of it then lol.... Yeah right.
