Where are the download links? Is the flash tool still usable or locked out?
Looks like the first post has been gutted and based on OVtunes other cryptic replies the tunes have been removed.

 

Of course. Flash Manager has been shut down for a while due to piracy issues. If you want to stick to the non-viewing / non-editing side, a new program to replace Flash Manager is being released.

Yes I remember this ^^ , from over a year ago before VF was a thing . There is supposed to be a new tune/map switching coming that is different and new. OVtune mentioned in a post it has something to do with 4lo .

 

Yes we explained that there will be some additional components for 4low not just ECT. I posted the final version of how it would go, along with the CL AFR tables not too long ago.

 

I was referring to how the Ovtune premade map switching options the final AT 2.0 performance/towing/GL tune switching tunes were going to work when released in the future for us that do not make changes in VFtuner , not an explaination of the tables and such for VF self tuning that make it happen .

Is something such as below possible ?
IE -
D=2.0 thx regular gas stock truck tune
ETC = Kruiser 6.0 tune for performance
Smode = 2.0 non thx premium gas tune ( with ECT off )
Smode 2.0 Thx premium gas tune with GL (with ECT on )

If this has already been explained before , I am sorry , I have not been reading every page and only check in while waiting for the final tunes to be released .

If you run the premade tunes it would be.. basically
1. primary tune
2. ECT ON = primary tune + VVT, AFR, Throttle map 2
3. 4Low ON = primary tune + VVT, AFR, throttle map 3

no it is not possible to have that much customization to each mode

 

Pretty sweet. Forgive my ignorance, is 4low ON meaning a tune while vehicle is actually engaged in 4lo? or its just used as a trigger to enable the 3rd tune like ect button. if the latter how do u get the vehicle to not shift into 4lo and into it when you want it to?

 

Now i know why i didnt see it. Im not following the vftuner 3.5 tacomaworld thread. I found what you were talking about though. Good to know.

I'd imagine it's a lower tip in with modified torque converter settings? Something along those lines possibly.

 

I am still tuned 2.0 (04A61) via orange ODBII and but I see the main post has been updated! Is there a new tune I need to update or is upgrading to vF tuner mandatory? Reason I ask is because the laptop I tuned with plus the cable kit is at home in another state so I would need to mail it to where I currently am, wondering if worth the hassle.
