Anyone interested in buying my spot in line? I put my deposit down back in September.
As I understand it you'll be on the hook for the new pricing, and it appears there now is a $75 charge to transfer the spot....correct me if I'm wrong

Something like that. Unless you can find another ranger then you could buy and sell it. But yah $75 to transfer is what I recall.

getting something new or sell the ranger? When i was there they were switching gears soon to other models as the focus has been mainly tacomas.

I ended up using a Full fitted sheet I had laying around and it's been working great. I'll try and get a picture later.

I'm tryin! lol The Wife and I are definitely trying to get into one this year, and we are plenty aware of the wait time and its only growing. We've been kinda bummed and havent pulled the trigger just due to the wait time. sneaking in line would be the best for us for sure. we're impatient AF. lol

They already fixed that. They installed the new gaskets and rear tailgate flange on mine a couple weeks ago. They were sent the wrong gaskets before which was holding water and wicking into the tent frame corner. They’ve been using the new gaskets and tailgate flanges.

    I agree, that looks amazing!

On the Plastidip, yep, I've used black on a bunch of stuff including fully murdering out a few vehicles. My black Tundra Platinum will be getting the full treatment as soon as I get my SP. To anyone who didn't know, a Tundra Platinum edition is a Tundra with approximately 73 big plastichrome badges all over it. There are single sides of this truck with 5 or 6 chrome badges, I swear. It's madness. So far I've been too lazy to start because I don't want it half done. All badging is likely coming off of the truck soon.

I picked up some gray Plasti-dip a few years ago when I saw it on the shelf and I knew I'd think of a use for it but I never have. As far as I know they still make it. They make white too, eek!

If you are going to try to darken your top with vinyl or Plastidip, why on the inside? That will just be harder. I'd do either one of those on the outside long before I'd try to do it on the inside.

Yeah I'm really kinda loving the gray. Was bummed that silver got 86'd, but i think it looks great. My kids had strong feelings about not going with white, even though that was my first choice, and i guess you gotta choose your battles.

Hope to be able to feel good about dogs in back, so I gotta figure something out there. 98% of the time, they ride in the cab, but i want to keep the bed as an option. Might need to wrap the doors white, which i think could only help with temp in the sun, and probably look great too.

Ventilation is a must if that is ever going to happen, so that will probably be first mod.

I want to see someone take one of the doors off and install a sliding window lol.
My concern would be that it becomes too "flimsy". One good thing is, if you mess up the door, I'm sure you could just order a new one

Yeah, I chatted with Peter about that actually. Just a question of working it into the production schedule, but it's doable.
