Rented a Sienna for a road trip and damn I'm kinda impressed. Took about $60 in gas total to go 975 miles avg was 33mpg. Even with some crazy head winds. Really wanted it to be a platinum with the recliners in the rear seats tho

Any advice on how to prep for Friday’s forecast of “large hail”. I park outside so I’m kind of f’ed if it comes.

under a big tree, at least should provide some dampening against the full force of the hail
but it comes with added tiny chance of being struck by lightning.
alternatively, some condo/apartments garages don't audit their parking daily so maybe you can park during the day at new/future residents parking space under cover

Plus those platinum fully loaded trim Siennas also come with 1500W power, the 400W on the Tacoma is pretty much good enough just to charge battery and pump air.
I was looking at those but too bad this year is the worst year to buy a car so I'm keeping the Taco still

I used to have a 400W aftermarket in my old 2001 Windstar. It would power a Playstation 2, that would then be fed into the rear-seat entertainment system (a VCR!). My son played PS2 for 4 days when we drove (slowly) from Spokane to Austin.

Out of curiosity, where have you seen forecasts for large hail? I haven't seen anything beyond 'thunderstorms' myself. Maybe I need a new weather source :D

I have some inflatables laying around....

I rotate between 3 apps but the one I find the best is AccuWeather.

any "severe" storm CAN provide this things. In terms of risk, Centex is currently under only a "Slight" (1 in 5) chance of severe storms, per NWS.

No, Centex law requires YOU wash truck, and water yard immediately prior to said storms. Don't wax. Causes pollen and hail.

Seriously, KXAN App has neat stuff like "follow me" for weather and radar. Select that - weather forecast follows you. Going to Dallas? Put it in, and you get that. Plus, you get 30 minute pop up videos available with the latest on TV stuff the app doesn't have. And of course, warnings.
