    You monster

I'd rather have a small rock in my hiking boot.

Oh those are long gone, I've got a pair of Merrells now, last time I went boot shopping at REI the Vasques were crazy priced ($300+). Merrells were on sale

Yeah, the Merrell's go on sale often. Steph just got a pair and they came out pretty cheap with all my rewards I hadn't cashed in on.

I didn't know Vasque were that expensive but hey, if they last a long time, they pay for themselves.

They aren't always, but I like to get waterproof hiking boots and those are usually a premium.

The Merrells I got are, but must not have been a very good waterproof pair because it didn't last long

You sure you don't have to treat them?

Some items normally need treatment over time to retain their waterproofing properties like one of my Carhartt sweaters.

Yeah I normally would order them online with my discounts; I just had a bunch of dividends.

I forget what boots you wear? Then again you're in the snow.

    Crispis for summer boots
    Or kenetreks

Only boots we’ve found that can stand the abuse we put them through.

    :notsure:

    Probably lol

I just like them being water resistant at least for snow wheeling, nothing sucks more than getting out in the snow with non-waterproof shoes

    Oh for sure!

Each time I went out to Shaver Lake or Bald Mountain and nearby, I wore my mid's...kept my feet dry the entire time :bananadance:

Those Kenetreks are premium as hell, damn.

Just amazes me how some people won't spend good money to take care of their feet; especially with where you go and shit.

They get really warm if you’re out and about, which can be good and bad.

    Waterproof as hell though

Same with the crispis waterproof wise, I stood in a little stream for a couple
    minutes to test them haha

Yeah, waterproofing could also mean your feet don't get to breath well.

We learned real quick in the military to 'take off your boots, change your socks' often routine and that's always stuck with me.
