TRD Off Road models come with an electronic locking rear axel. When "LOCKED" it provides power to both axels regardless if a tire is in the air, mud, sand, etc. :)

    Thanx

Who can explain to me the difference between machine cut alloy wheels and just alloy wheels?

I plan to purchase the 09 TRD sport and would like to upgrade the wheels and rims...

2009 sport owner chiming in. Is it possible the off road comes with different suspension bushings? Anyway, I absolutely love my sport setup for the road which is where I am 95% of the time. The LSD gives great traction in the wet (haven't had snow yet) even in 2wd.

Alloy wheels are mostly just cast. "Machine cut" is a cast wheel, then its machined to the shape, or size. Many times a Machine cut wheel is a cast wheel and the "face" of the wheel is just machined out.

I believe the Impulse Red does not come in a Sport model.
