Those are super comfy also. The adjustability is a huge plus

my truck isn’t a dedicated desert rig so I would like to keep the reclining ability and adjustments. I visited PRP and sat in them. Just haven’t had the opportunity to use for long periods.

Another budget option for seats is getting take outs. Picked up sti seats for $300.

Might not be a "cool" option but XJ seats especially ones that are in good shape are pretty damn comfy offroad imo.

In the beginning they where stiff and worried I couldn’t drive long in them. But after a couple of months they broke in nicely. Pretty happy with them. I can’t really recline them to much because of the cage but I can set the angle of them in the right spot for me. That’s why I went that route. I lean back a little more then other people do.

Dude they been in. Just covered with seat covers because of my dirty job. I uncover them every now and then. I just recently took them out because I’m putting new vinyl flooring in soon.

Yeah not for that application. All those beamed trucks get 16 to low twenties up front and since all of them are linked they get mid 20’s in back plus a lot of them are running bypasses and tuned coilovers and he’s running coil springs haha

It’s all in the tuning. But big travel numbers help.

Yeah that was what I mentioned about the jeep. Thing kills it and I think it’s more like 13-15 front rear

    you have my interest!

would probably be quite a feat to make and install. It would have to replace the front diff mount and steering rack mounts too....which is all good in my book.

1st gen Tundra guy got a little crunched up and is remaking part of his rack mount over on DR right now - might be interesting to watch and check out. If 8 other guys are interested, my truck ain't going anywhere for awhile so I'm down to have it become a test mule.

He's still running a bypass in conjunction with the coil spring.

That thing is super sketch in that desert clip though.

Right but it was the fact he has one less squishy column per corner I'm impressed by. He's built that thing through a lot of trial and error - it's impressive how many hacks he's built into it.
