Softening the front gives it more traction and vice versa.

I sometimes wonder if the Sport SB really belongs on the ORs.:rofl:

I just hand to get my hands on a 2016 or newer sway bar. Once that happens I'll get something in the works.

Wait, what does driving behind someone with something strapped down have to do with anything? And yes I do the same. I never drive behind work trucks or people with loads in their bed or on a trailer.

Just a habit from riding. It carries over to the no SB situation. Less chance of worrying about a swerve if they loose the load.

    Sweet pic!

I'm very interested in what you draw up. Were you able to get your hands on a 3rd gen SB?

    Interesting idea.
I haven’t had mine on for 30k miles, but if I could, I’d run something like this. It’s a little sketchy going downhill on mountain passes. Still not used to it, I just drive slower than the truckers. Haha.

I've been running without on my FJ ( I know...not exactly the same ) for 13ish years with no issues. Offroad, city, highway.....even emergency maneuvers and I have never felt unstable or out of control. The vehicle may lean a litte bit quicker but no further than with the sway bars.

Honestly, those who drive my FJ without the sway bars would never know.

What front coils? Depends on setup. My 3rd gen 4runner on ome shocks and 881 coils was dangerous. Especially with rear removed. Once I installed extended disconnects it felt like a sports car.

For me it is often after I’ve been removed from the bar that I sway.

    OEM
Then S.A.W. 2.5 in the front and 2.0 in the rear
Now KINGS, 2.5 on all 4 corners

I remived both front and rear sway bars at the same time.

I took mines off long time ago. Never looked back. Don’t be scared.

After almost 5 years, removed my sway bar. Damn that thing is heavy! Only drove in the city and so far I really like it. I’ll take it out on the highway tomorrow and post a review.

    Had the best helper!

So drove around some more, didn’t get a chance to go on the highway though.

Did some sharp turns at 50 or so MPH and it felt fine. A bit more body roll but I didn’t feel unsafe at all.

My only regret so far is that I waited almost 5 years to do it. By the way, I’m running 2887 OME coils and nitro charger soft valved shocks, 2” lift.

Shouldn’t ever be too bad. My truck is long travel and pretty soft on the street. There is one long sweeper on my commute that I hit around 40-50. I can get the traction control light to turn on because my truck is leaned over so far.
