Do they work with 3rd gen manual transmission out of box? Some other brands require cylinder relocation kit to have clearance for the struts

 

We have been selling our 3rd gen system for 5 years without any issues reported back by our customers. I'm sure there is someone on TW that has our system installed on their manual 3rd gen that can verify.

 

Lowest shipping option for me is $16.41. Don’t see the flat rate option.

 

Are you ordering a rivet gun as well? That adds to the weight and bumps it to the non flat rate category. The flat rate is for a single Hood QuickLIFT system (less than 2lbs) FYI the MaxLIFT is over 2lbs.

Can you outline what modification needs to be made to the SDHQ mounting bracket for this to fit? I would like to confirm before purchasing. My truck is a third gen. Thanks!

I will be honest with you, I don't know what a SDHQ mounting bracket is, can you please send a picture? For an OEM truck there are no modifications required.

 

I'm sorry, we don't do OEM replacements.

 

Do you make a kit that I could use to get rid of the OEM struts and use yours instead?

 

No, Unfortunately we don't design systems for vehicles that came with OEM gas Springs.
