    Recently installed this kit with the ICON AAL in the rear. Went with the center notch in the front. Happy with the look, but I’ve got a pulsing vibration from about 15-55 MPH. Goes away when I put it in 4WD. Doesn’t seem to be many people having the same issue so I’m assuming it’s either something with the kit itself or I installed it improperly. Any suggestions?

    you need to replace the driver cv axle needle bearing with a cv axle bushing to get rid of that vibration.

    It's the common problem with the needle bearing at the CV joint. If it goes away in 4WD that's most likely what it is. Check out ECGS for the bushing & removal tool. Someone on here might have the tool you could borrow

    Appreciate the info. I was thinking about going back down to the lower notch to see if that resolved the issue but this bushing replacement seems like the better option. Kind of odd to me that the bearing would need to be changed when the truck has less than 10K miles on it and has been in 4WD twice. I’m the only one I’ve spoke to that is having this problem with this lift, as well. Thanks again. I’ll check out ECGS.

    I had the vibration as soon as I installed the lift (1st notch). I had the needle bearing switched out for the ECGS bushing and that took care of it.

    This is why I had the ECGS installed when I had my lift done.

    Appreciate the help, everyone. Got the bushing and removal tool on order. Should have it swapped on early next week.

    Is this Needle Bearing issue common, or depends on the truck?

    It is basically a tacoma design flaw from the factory. The ECGS bushing fixes it with a much more robust, better designed part.

    thank you guys, getting my lift done on Tuesday. Will I need to get an alignment after the ECGS bushing? I dont have enough time to order into into Canada. So I guess I will roll the dice.

    Thanks. I’m one of those guys that would just rather have the tool on-hand. Chances are I’m going to need it again, anyway.

    I'd do the lift after I got the bearing. No sense tearing it apart twice.

    Hey man, I just did the same setup as you with the aal in back but I did only go on the first notch in the front. Did yours have any rake in the back with the front at 2nd notch, I was worried I wouldn't so I didn't go to 2nd notch and now I think I'm regretting it, as the 1st notch is not very high compared to stock. So I'm now thinking going to 2nd notch and adding a eibach 1" block to the icon aal in back. Think this will be too much in back or is it even without the block on yours? Did you get a new alignment when you got done with your lift also, that causes shake problems.

    It was ac
    It was actually right at 1/8” (ish) taller in the front, which is what I was hoping to avoid. I like the raked look, personally. Not sure what the right answer is between adding the blocks or taking it back down in the front. I’m sure someone will throw some info out there. I was thinking about putting the helper leaf back in to achieve the rake I want. I did have it aligned. It was out pretty bad too.

    You can't put overload spring back in with Mini leaf pack, that was the original leaf that had the center bolt through the leafs now it is your mini pack and the back shackles of both leafs have been cutout for it to fit. Like they say once you start no going back.

    @SuperWhiteTaco84

    Looks good! If its not too much trouble, measurements from ground to fender and center hub to fender? Also tire size?

    What are you using for rear lift, 2 blocks?

    TIA
