So I saw this guy yesterday:
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...6&pd_rd_w=PuCcH&pd_rd_wg=83SWv&ref_=pd_gw_unk

And it seems entirely too good to be true. $119 and 600w? Suspicious. Especially since I can't find it on MB Quarts website

Then I looked on crutchfield, and there's a whole range of them. Anyone have a recommendation?

I put one of the kicker hideaway ones in my wife's car, no issues and sounds good

I'm in the market for some extra bass and dont want to do a whole system upgrade. I'm probably going to go with a powered sub like this. I've been looking at the Sound Ordinance, but may do some research on this one.

Yeah there's a bunch, including that one, that seem to get pretty solid reviews.

I can't find anything on the mb quart one other than whats on Amazon, and a few things on youtube. Hence me being suspicious.

Has anyone ran the 10" hideaway? I've been wanting one but am unsure if it will fit under the seat.

When I was a kid I ran a dirt cheap 600W amp to drive 400 watts worth of JL woofers. I figured I'd just run it without ever coming close to straining it and still come out ahead of buying a name brand. Nope, it sounded like hammered shit. Lesson learned, now I don't mess with off brand audio.

Yeah I think you get what you pay for, mostly. Once you're above some threshold its kind of hard to to screw up too bad. I've had a 500W RMS amp driving a 120W RMS slim sub under the passenger seat of my nissan for almost a decade now, and its been fine. Sounds great in a sealed diy box. That said, the amp is Alpine and the sub is Pioneer, so its decent gear.

Really the only reason I'm looking at ones with built in amps is space is too much of a premium in my taco.

Yeah, I'm not willing to give up that much space though. I think I could squeeze a 10 under the seat if I wanted, but then I'd have to put the amp under my drivers seat or something.

Im in the same boat. dont really want to give up much space and only want to add a tad bit of extra boom to the bass. i thought about building a custom box to stick under the seat with a skar 6.5 but not sure if there is enough room under there

I know the 3rd gen has plenty of room under the seat, I have this under my driver seat

Appears to be legit. The last MB Quart speakers I bought were hecho in PRC. Sounded excellent, however. I had a set of German made MB's in my T-100 and they were heavenly.

Maybe. I dunno how much Amazon verifies though. I sent an email to the sales account on MB quarts website. $119 is such an outlier.
