I picked up my Tacoma from a local shop yesterday (12/8/2018) and I'm very happy how it turned out. I went well over my planned budget but what do you do. Lol! I have more mods planned in the upcoming future, but I'm done spending money for now. Here is a list of mods that were put in this week.

Nice build! I have plans for a similar build as you. How has your on-road ride changed with the Bilsteins?

 

I feel a small difference from the stock Bilstein 4600's. The OME coils and Pro Comp AAL makes it ride stiffer, but I'll be honest, I like how it drives. Feels like a tank

Wow, that guy is making a killing on the decals. It cost him 12 dollars to make.

 

For sure he is. It's crazy what these pieces of plastic with tape cost. It was the cheapest ones I could find on Ebay or Amazon. Definitely less than buying them from Toyota. It is what it is, unfortunately. I had to have them.

Hands down the best dashcam for your money. I like the fact that I can view my drives on my phone and having unlimited cloud storage. I'm glad I got it and highly recommend.

Thanks for the reply! I think that sells it for me, I’ve had some close calls with people clearly looking for a free insurance claim and want to get something to protect from that. How are you powering it? I was thinking of the doing the tap in kits into the overheard always on for the Mirror.

 

I hear you on that. That's why I have one. I use the DC power outlet and run the power cord to the Camera. The cord tucks in nicely and is hidden from view.

Thanks brotha! I totally forgot about this thread. My truck looks different now. I redid the suspension, wheels, tires, added a bed rack and a bunch of other accessories in the last 3 months.

 

Are you using the suction mount that comes with the camera? I just got one and would rather find an adapter for the dash cam to mount to the GoPro mount that is factory on my windshield. If I can't find an adapter that someone has already made. I may have a friend of mine 3D print one for me, but just trying to see if someone else has already done it/found one.

 

I'm not using the suction cup. I'm using the other mount that it came with. It sticks on to the window.
