Right, because science and technology and costs don’t matter, it’s just a political magic kinda decision!
I do look forward to Tacoma Hybrids and EVs in the near future though the cost of them is already too high.

 

It's gonna suck trying to tow anything long distance with these EV trucks, since charging stations aren't really set up for trucks & trailers to sit on the lot for ~30 minutes charging. Hell, a lot of them (as far as I know, the majority) only have traditional parking spots and not pull-through stations, which means dropping your trailer before you charge. Grumble grumble.

Off-roading capability is probably fine, until you find yourself on low charge. What's the jerrycan equivalent for an EV in the middle of nowhere?

They'd be perfectly suited for mall crawling, gotta give them that.

 

Yeh I'm sure towing is another obstacle they need tackle.

 

I live close to the freeway. Like next door. That would be awesome to get rid of that noise.

I would imagine most people garage their EV. How long is an EV going to survive the elements?

Needs to be 800vlt system, 15 min to 80% full charge , min 500mi range IMO.

There is a shop about 65 miles from me that customizes them. Puts lift kits on them, whatever you want. Even sets them up to be street legal. They are passing ordinances in these towns around my area where you can drive them on the streets.

I saw on a show there's some towns in Florida that only allows golf carts.

That "Wolf Plus" not only looks pretty bad ass but highly functional as well! If it didn't "feel" like a rattle trap POS I also think that bed extension is very cool
