Time to replace. I used to have a link for ones that were cheaper than TC. But I can't find it. I'll look for it. Dont overspend on the TC ones

Good looking out. TC wants $200 for those balls.

Saw something on Ebay for a little cheaper, but not sure if they're the same.:anonymous:

Here are a couple that Ive found right now: https://www.amazon.com/FK-Bearings-...t=&hvlocphy=9007576&hvtargid=pla-570313705083

My old link was from Nexgenoffroad, but maybe they are out? Here are the circlips: I am running the nexgenoffroad ones in my UCAs right now
    http://www.nexgenoffroad.com/product-p/uniballclip1.00.htm

    Parts list that I used:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-hoarding-phase.424430/page-533#post-23059176

EDIT: here are the Nexgenoffroad ones. When I bought them, pre-covid they were $30 each. Guess prices went up a bit. Still a good place to get the uniballs and circlips at once. :

^^ Any hacks on removal tools for those uniballs or should I shell out $45 for the tools from TC?

I think you could use a socket? It was helpful for me because I have TC lowers too. $45 is not bad at all! I think I paid 60 even with a discount from ORW ..

I actually used a brass vise on a table. They came out super smooth. TC uses some good anti-seize! Barely any effort coming out or going back in.

I agree with this. I was just noting that Ive used a soft vise with TC tool, and they basically fell out after 3 years of east coast winter/salt. Thats not bad. And reassembly wasnt bad at all either. I probably spent more time bs-ing than actually trying to remove uniballs.

I think I did it every time I washed the truck, which was monthly. Now Ive been lubing them with Triflow every oil change. I have the CRC spray too, but I like triflow more.

Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
I have changed my UCA uniballs a few times over the years. The clay dust/mud really eats them up here.

Wheelers has the FK replacement uniballs for the best price I found two years ago (last time I replaced them). Although that might have just been the best price from someone that would ship to Canada. It's time to order another set and I'll probably just go straight to Wheelers.

I use the AGM uniball tool to do it right on the truck. It works really well as long as they aren't seized; it's a very quick and fairly easy task with the right tool. It was quite expensive though, and my original uniballs were a PITA even with the right tool... I don't think ICON used any antiseize at all. Use it!
Note: ICON uses slightly different uniballs than other manufacturers, but Wheelers has FK replacements for both.

You'll probably want snap ring pliers too, maybe new snap rings. Both available at pretty much any auto parts store.

The icon uniball part number is comh16t. At least for the billet UCA’s.

I went with 9' straps and still have the 8's if you would like to buy with discount $20.00 each + shipping. I dont see any problem with the 8's i just wanted to set my cleavis mounts up a bit higher. I bought them from Kartek. You can find them on their site under suspension parts?

Ok Cool. I'm tearing my front end down now and will start taking some measurements and see I decide to take you up on those. Thanks!
